its a great start, dont give up on it, just get a sander, and start sanding and layering, it'll take time, but itll be fine when you finish it. remember any mistakes can become battle damage.

very very true. these helmets are supposed to be messed up a little bit. scratches and all that.

i'm sanding mine down toa smoth top surface butthe deep grooves and pock marks i'm going to leave as fragment damage

Dont be discouraged! It will turn out fine, my helmet has about 2 hours of sanding time on it, and i've got another 2 to go!

purchased a detail sander and did a bit of sanding. It was going really well until i struck paper! i guess i didnt put enough bondo on some places so there will be more bondo done this weekend and hopefully sanding can get finished

Pics up in a few... Hopefully! It seems whenever i say that my computer does something stupid and i get delayed

well sand off the paper and fill it with bondo
Oh and what kind of computer are you using? A DELL? They FAIL ALL THE TIME. Get a Mac
