Started my Mando(now with Pics)

Howdy. As the title says. I got gloves already and started on Skip's PDO bucket that's been floating around here. I don't have pics yet but will once I get the bucket glued together.

Can't wait to see some pics!

I had to restart the helmet. I was working on it on the floor when my eight year old son accidentally crushed it. But it was a blessing in disguise. I ran out of super glue and ended up using hot glue to put the dome together. It worked extremely well! I am pleased.

The gloves I got at a vender at a local agraculteral fair (Fryeberg Fair if anyone knows of it). Slightly too big but I like it that way.

Yes! Almost ready. It's been resined, sanded abit in the inside. The weather was not the best today. It rained. Hopefully I'll get more done this weekend if it's nice.

I think I agree with the red knees and gaunts...what other were you thinking?

I have no clue what I was thinking. Might make them the same color as the rest of the armor.

Speaking of, I started laying out the plates just a few minutes ago. Using old 5 gallon buckets we have lying around.

Yeah, I was really worried how the buy'ce was going to turn out but I am really happy with it so far. The moment of truth will come when I rondo it and start sanding.

But at least it's started.:D Oh yeah, if you see this Skip, how about an update on the dome for the PDO, huh?;)
