Not that there's anything wrong with legit Boba/Jango replicas. Just wanna see some different interpretations!

Same size as a normal gaunt, but it has a minigun on the top.
Made from PVC and resin with a coating of coldcast resin painted on top.
Reason: I'd like to see a jedi block laser bolts coming out at 300 per second. :)
lol...I had the same idea, Saz. I'll grab a pic of my mini gun gaunt and feed chute when I get home.
Here are a few pics of my left gaunt. I hate the color, though, so it's getting a complete repaint (maybe this weekend). Made from a Boba style gaunt with the greeblie thing from the other gaunt to help hide the hinge. The barrels are aluminum tubing with PVC bands to help keep them from flying apart (like the first version did). Powered by an airsoft gun motor. The cover is just some scrap sintra I had from doing some other armor pieces. It houses a small airsoft battery in the lower shell and a tactile switch that will be secured to the forefinger with an elastic sleeve. Touch it, the barrels spin :)

Those are all pretty **** rad... I'm putting together a set out of pvc that will be super simple and cheap to make. I've just finished the basic arm pieces, now on to attachments and details. I dont think they will need a hinge or closure system, the "memory" of the plastic will keep them in place... We'll see. Pics to come in the net few days. I have a bunch of **** to do, so I wont be able to do more till tomorrow night.(it's only 4 a.m. right now..LOL)
However Muad Dib(doesn't that mean little mouse?) I do plan on copying your idea of longer pieces on the outside of the gaunt, almost a secondary shield of armor..r
Did these for a friend and his custom in the works. The amber lights flash at random under the "screen".

Left hand crush aunt to be worn over thin leather glove. The elements are connected with wire wrapping.
I like the oxydized look of your work, butterbean and the addition of the prequel blaster greeblies.
I also LOVE those aluminum arm guards, Tomoe. Kind of Neo-Crusader looking.
And actually, xANGRYMONK3Yx, it describes the "mouse" shape formed from shadows on Arrakis' moon. ^__-
