Shano Andora - Custom Mandalorian

DS Sith Lord

New Hunter
Good evening.

I have started building a custom Mandalorian costume that will be mostly black and red. It will have a large black cape and a long kama which are both from my old Darth Vader costume. The vest will also be made out of some old leather from my old Darth Vader costume.

So far I've completed the helmet and have posted all the progress photos in a tutorial.

I hope you all like it and that it will be helpful to you.

Dark Side Sith Lord.

Great tutorial!!!! I may try that sometime with a second lid. What did you use to cut the shapes in the sheet metal? Tin snips? I figured a dremel would go too haywire for the first cut. Anyway, awesome!!!! Cant wait to see some more progress!!!!! (y)

Thanks for the kind words, everyone :)

@Johnny Boy Fett - I guess tin snips would be another word for tin-cutters that I call them, and that's what I used to cut all the shapes out, yeah. Some of the things I hate the most doing is to cut out metal parts with a Dremel.

I'm hoping to do some more progress soon, at the moment I'm stuck in work on my Tusken mask, but that will perhaps get finished tomorrow, then I will continue the work on the armor, helmet interior, gauntlets, and all the other stuff.

nice... gonna have to print up all those templates... i have tons of thin sheet steel in my yard and even more off the old cars at work... i think i'll make the helmet out of a cadillac
