For our fan film Seven Jedi we have an assortment of bounty hunters called the Marauders. They are a combonation of mercenaries and pirates that hunt the jedi in the film.

More updates on some of the marauder armor, this particular armor was a very bad clone trooper armor, 3rd for 4th recast if Im not mistaken. also very oversized, so I am turning it into our marauder cyborg "Strykan" Adding various battle damage and showing some of the inner workings of our cyborg. Funky flash doesnt do paint scheme justice.

nice mod to the westars they give them a very personal feel like when officers in the old military would put ivory (or some thing to that nature) grips on there service revolvers. by the way where are you getting all the horns n stuff for your mods??? any who again fantastic work
I find alot of stuff on ebay, random auctions that offer lots of goodies. I have about 4 dozen horns and tusks for the marauder armor and weapons.

Some fight choreography practice shots of the female marauder brandishing her electrified whip. Will be one of the weapons used to counter against the jedi lightsabers.

Heres a sneak peek at our saber-chucks, about 70%
Still finishing up emitter and powdercoating sleeves. This will be a double saber like Maul's but will break into two sabers as well.

They all look well class!!! Love the concept art...the armour looks great...how did you do the horns/teeth on the shoulder bell...I was going to make some rancor teeth for my fett...but anyway looks very cool!!
By your request, Heres some updates.
Hi, thanks for the comments,I started by drilling holes in the bells, was hesitant at first but was like what the heck. haha then fiberglassed the inside and attached the horns with epoxy. have a 1/4 inch layer of foam on the inside. weatered horns to look like theyve been threw many battles.
Is that a tactical vest your using with that mando armor? which one?
Its either a tactical vest (airsoft one maybe??? I LOVE AIRSOFT) or a camo shirt they modified....who knows

I would say it looks like a german vest with a flecktarn pattern but I could be wrong.

We have a portable fog machine in our arsenal of Dc-15s, E-11s and bowcasters.

Heres a pic of our Mandalorian helmet.
I used neo mags to hold the top portion of the ears on so when we transport it i can easliy take off the rangefinder.

I would have to agree It is awesome to see a film where the jedi are people who actually know matial arts. The worst thing is seeing a film where non martial artists try to mimick our moves and rely on special effects to carry the move/scene through.
The props are top notch very sweet.

Plan to, since the Bandits in the orignal movie used horses, will be using modified swoop choppers for the baddies vehicles. Heres one of the frames were working on.

I have a Maverick (nerf gun), and I have been wanting to do some painting on it for my costume. What kind of paint is this? What was your technique? What is the gripping -- it looks kind-of-like hair bands?
Did you take out the spring in it also?

Just some airbrush and spray paint. No technique really, just layer upon layer.
Nah springs still inside, nah were still filming, takes a while to get his kinda thing done. thansk will be online after we release at the film fests.

Yeah, kind of got that impression too. But at least one of that group needs to be hardcore enough to take on the bad guys, im thinking its him. Excellent work so far, cant wait to see this finished
