Sculpt of Custom "Mandalorian" Helmet, and Armor Build
SO...I am in a little bit of a break on Jango, until my flightsuit comes in. My younger brother was telling me how he wanted to make a mandalorian costume. He wanted it to deviate from the Fett style mandalorian armor and helmets. He sketched up a helmet, a couple versions of it. And it was looking cool. It's kind of like a mix between a Fett, Master Chief, Dead Space 2, and Mandalore the Indomitable helmet. He asked me if I would sculpt it for him. I said sure, and got some supplies together. I sculpted quite a bit today, but there's still a bunch to do. When it is done, I think it will be pretty awesome. He also designed his own armor, which I'll do out of steel for him. ;-) Here are some progress pics.

I'm digging the progress so far and I like the sketches that your brother did. I look forward to seeing this completed. Props to you for being a good brother as well.

Re: Sculpt of Custom "Mandalorian" Helmet, and Armor Build
Thanks man. ;-)
Here are some sketches of where we hope to be. Might be ditching the bicep pieces. And the thighs won't wrap all the way around. We are going to get Boba fett knees and cod piece. Colors....he and I have been trying to figure that out. I'm thinking a deserty, tan, weathered, lots of leather pouches, a cloak thingy, etc. He want dark dark green, with electric green accents on certain areas. We'll incorporate kill stripes, maybe some Mandolorian letters. He's thinking a black undersuit....
Any ideas? ;-)

Re: Sculpt of Custom "Mandalorian" Helmet, and Armor Build
You might want to modify the top of the chest pieces where they stick up in the arm pit section. It just looks like it could dig into his arm and hinder mobility. The idea of the kidney/side plates is a pretty cool design. I also think that maybe the bicep armor should stay since the suit is somewhat all encompassing and I think it looks neat. Although in the end it is his and your design.
