out of interest, but do the lights on the front of the rangefinder unit have to be red? would it be possible to make them another colour on a custom helmet (im not talking about doing it on a Boba or Jango helm, that would be sacriligious!)

any input would be welcomed

I would think you can make them whatever color you want for a custom!!

Pretty much any color you want is acceptable for a custom. Heck you can save your time and buy a couple of those 7 color flashing LED's and tie them into some watch batteries. =)

I'm doing a custom and am not going to have a range finder. So if you ask me anything goes.
