yeah, good point ^^. i don't have any pix of the whole costume setup, and i'm still missing a back plate and guantlets, but you'll have to trust me that this Custom Mando looks alright.

to give everyone a visual, it's got black underneath, the thigh pouches are gray, the helmet is a repainted Jango helmet, with black instead of the blue-purple. the cape is a silvery gray, and the knees are gray. i'm still messing with my camera (stupid Vivatar) but i'll probably get it fixed soon.

i feel a little out of place with only armor, but i've got a question. right now i've been using some of those air force cover-alls for my jumpsuit. should i be using something else?
I would say use what ever you like and is comfortable for you. The under shirt that I am wearing is an old paintball Jersey and I am wearing black BDU pants. I have seen alot of cover-alls and jump suits used as well.

Here's the custom Mando I did for my son.
He debuted it at Adcon this year.
I still need to make him some gauntlets.
I will be taking pics of my completed (but what mando is truley complete) Mando I posted some on another thread but I was not really done. They will be posted today.

You could do it ala Boba, He has those cube thingies on his collar armor, you could attach yours like that on both sides.

These are old pics, I've reshaped the helmet and added a backplate since then. I'll try to get some new pics soon. I'm also going to lose/alter the cape and try to find a better belt.
I'm also giving a closeup of the emblem on my chestplate.

Well, here's my daughter's custom Mandalorian, Jorina Varas.
She's done a few troops now with us as a 501st cadet.....
Here's one I found on someone's blog....
I'm a proud Dad and I made the suit to kind of show off that she's a chick, I cut some black material to tie her hair with and it and her hair poke out below the helmet.
I hope you like it.

I really need to stop by Jay's more often when I'm in DM and I really need to finish my beskar'gam. To quote my wife when I said that my Boba Fett costume was a good start and I'll know what to do differently on the second one: "WHAT!!!"
At some point I'll get pics posted of what I've done so far.
I think they should have put the tarp on the ground in front of the Jedi.. you know.. to help with the messy clean-up!!

updated photos this is my completed mando(for now)after redoing my cape and adding the blaster rifle to the back armor plate.

Ok This is mine. Still working on it.
Still working on a jet pack and I've just added wookie braids and a girth belt. The girth belt is white. Also changed the right chest armout(it now has scratches and no emblem) and knee darts.
Do we ever get to realy finish austom mandalorian are are we destined to keep adding to it for ever?

nope,but you can get some at tandy leather,or micheals i think too..not sure i already had the stuff at my house when i had to dye my leather pouches
Ah, the art of custom mandos.
Maybe one of these days I'll catch up to the trend and remake my armor sintra or T-can.

I don't have pictures but for halloween I was a custom Mando, and I got some comments on it, some people told me they liked it. I hadn't finished the leg armor and I didn't have a helmet but other than that it was a decent costume.
even without a helmet,people can usually recognize the armor..some people though cant

I love customs. I'm getting a camera soon and will post pictures of my almost complete costume!
My mando has Mythasaur skulls on both shoulder bells and a big red one on the cape. The top of the helmet might have one too, not sure yet.
The funny part about MandoMan's picture of the group, Captain Jack Sparrow is in there. Just look by the Royal Guard he will pop up.
i finally debuted my custom mando at super megafest in boston a few weeks ago. it was pretty awesome, i got some great compliments. these are the best photos i have of it. it still needs a ton a tweaking/fixing/additions, but it's at least presentable.

Some pics of my custom mando.
One thing I think that always helps sell mandos and makes them look solid is weathering your soft garments (undersuit, capes, vests, etc) and good boots that help sell the whole suit.
