    Oh, I see now.

It wasn't a term I was familiar with for some reason.

lol yea! It's something I considered too, but I just can't resist the silver/red OS Jango. It's my weakness . I would say let's troop together when you're done, if I didn't live in Illinois haha! If you're ever doing something with the Mando near Chicago let me know .

i'd say neither. you can see right and left shoulders on those grunts and they don't have anything.

I'd say wait for the comics and then check to see if any of them have any skulls. If not (which is how it looks) then go sans skull. Accurate mandos are pretty cool

This is a great idea. It would be so cool to have rank upon rank of 'grunt' mandos

I refer to them as "Those guys that sheilded the main guys with their bodies".

I have loved the middle mando's (without the pack) back armor. I love the scale look to it. If they all didn't look so much like Fett, or Kast for that matter, I think I'd paint one of my sets as it.

Keep up the good work man, can't wait to see it finished!

LoL... well i love that same back armor.. you may just see it on this mando when I get finished ... Well jodo kasts armor had a previous owner i just like to think i am going for one of the fellow vode of that owner.. and if u want to do a grunt then jsut need to change and add a few things on your Jodo costume

and thank you both for the words of encouragement..

Very true, all I'd need to do is cut out an addition set of shoulder bells, mabey knees, and a chest plate for a variant logo. It looks like the scale backarmor one we like only has a soft parts girth belt on, with a big ammo pouch. It sorta looks like its made from material. If anything, I could cut my wait size out in sintra, and put material over it for a belt, so I could hang the large pouches on it. I don't think a velcroed cloth belt would hold that large of pouch up.

And the best part about it? Not having a jet pack is canon!

That pouch realy sorta looks like a pouch for paintball pods, or the size of it. I actualy have a spair pack that I could cut in half and have two sets of two pouches that would work.

I was thinking of doing a "sash" around the waist and having a leather belt to hold the ammo pouches and holsters..

Thats crazy that you say that, because I seriously had that in the post of mine above, but ended up deleting it out of it to explain the sintra wrapped belt!

Or either that we escaped from the same Asylum.

I would think after a little bit of talking it could be approved. There where multiple mando grunts in the comic, and it was an official Dark Horse SW comic. Between the Jedi Vs. Mando battle there where plenty of angles for refrencing them. I think you need at least 3 angles if I remember correctly. Or something like that. Mabey I made that up. I don't know off hand, do they have a list now of accepted characters? Something like that.

Jodo.. I contacted the LMO for the 501st and was told

The current standard of practice is for a new character to have three separate Lucasfilm licensed produced/released visual sources that depict the character in the exact same manner visually.
so.. long road ahead and alot of waiting and hoping

Hmmm, mabey they'd could consider the diffrent angles of grunts in Open Season enough.

    Love your helmet BTW!

    separate references mean just that.

so you'd need the open seasons comic book
    another comic book
a hasbro/kenner figure (since im pretty sure we accept those now as a referance)

While the figures are accepted as refferences. just that There probably won't be a generic mando figure with this back armor. Most likely just repaints of jango or boba.
