new helmet

Wasn't happy with my previous bucket, so the work begins on a fiberglass bucket. The material is a sheet of 1/16 thick fiberglass.

This reminds me... I really need to make that thread on how I modified the bottom of my WoF template helmet to give it a more screen accurate shape.

love the work specially how its a costume mando but you still stuck with details and realisim by the color choices
Ive seen some custom mandos before that have to much blunt bright colors and don't have detail or realism to them,but your is looking real good

so the roof flashing, was there alot of creasing or did it end up smooth prior to filler?

It was fairly smooth, I resin coated it to help seal it and then threw the bondo to it

working on re-building my knees ...this time from pvc
