NEW GUY: Helmet Advice

Coder

New Hunter
Hey all. I am a bit new here and was wondering if i could get everyone's advice on which type of helm would best suit me. I already own a Rubies Jango, but i am looking for something i can add physical damage to. The Jango fits well so i would like some thing similar in size. I appreciate any and all advice and i look forward to sharing my first build with everyone soon. Thanks.

Not sure how big/small the Rubies Jango is...I was got into this whole obsession with a Supreme Edition Rubies Fett (a couple grand later, and waiting on a few soft parts, and the only part I am still using from that costume is the jetpack) The bucket on the rubies supreme boba is very similar in size and shape to my asok cold cast, which is originally the fettpride budget bucket (I think) My MSH 2 is just slightly bigger than both of those (very marginally) My Don Post recast is noticeably smaller than all the others. I've heard (since I've yet to see one in person) that the GMH that fettpride is doing now is a smaller bucket than all the others out there...but there is the waiting list to deal with there. My suggestion is the ASOK cold cast...great looking bucket at a great price.

I second the idea of the Asok CC. I have one and it is nice, especially after brushing it with some fine steel wool.

Hi Coder, I have 2 helmets, 1 supreme Rubies and An Asok , the Rubies depends of you head size and you height, this is a small piece for tall people and that show too much your neck. The Asok is perfect in all points, but you must drill, sand it, cut, buy the T visor ot build and fianlly paint.......here is my helmets and work for all them....................

hopes help you this..............

Yes, that helps a lot. I think what i am going to do is build my armor and softies first, then see how my rubies looks with it. if it does indeed show too much neck then i will puchase a new helm (though i will most likely purchase one anyway). i want to do something like ithica's jodo, but way more custom (custom RF, comm instead of jetpack, and heavy armed gaunts). I have a rough sketch but cant upload it at work. I'll refine it and put it up soon. Thanks all.
