New custom mondo progress

for about 2 hours i have been trying to get the leds hooked up, but i got nothing.Any one got any ideas for me to get it working/

Thanks,
But dose any one know how to hook it up?

Do you know how to use a solder iron? I think that's the best way to hook wires up to whatever you need. But you need to know where to hook the wires up, and most importantly which end is the positive terminal and which end is the negative terminal.

The LED assembly is going to take some fairly intricate work. There is a certain pin-out that has to be followed to get it to light up, and even then you need a transmission device of some sort to even have the LCD display anything other then all 000000 or -------.

You may be able to hook up a 4017 decade counter that would make it work somewhat similar to a Boba Fett chest display.

If you want to learn how to put small electronics like this together, visit this thread: http://mercs.firespray.net/forum/index.php?topic=360.0

Scur Falco is our electronics expert in Mercs, and when I say expert...I mean it. He has put together a ton of vids on making electronics for your own chest displays, thermal detonators, ect. If you tell him what you have and what you want to do with it...he'll be able to help you.

And thanks jimmy for posting

Dude..
that is a hardcore fan, when you put two up the front i don't think you will ever have cooling problems to deal with:)

One big fan in there...

You are taking pictures a little too close, they turn out a little fuzzy.

However, I think you're doing a great job, keep up the good work!!

thanks guys,
i probaly wont have any problems just have to problem of getting a better battery to run my big fan to give it more power so it can blow more cool air in. and the 2 smallier fan fan that go in front might be a tight fit but it will be worth it.
