Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
yes, but shooting bents into it and bumping into something relatively hard while trooping and adding dents that way are different. :lol
and why not use the 22 gauge? it is only a few bucks more, and isnt that much more difficult to form (having worked with 16gauge, nothing is difficult after that...:b:lol), and is relatively thicker and more sturdy...
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
agree.
that much difference isnt really large, so it doesnt matter. bumping into what??? a tank?
:D
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
hahahaha!!! somwbody wearing 16 gauge armour! :b:lol gotta watch out for those guys...
Jay, do have a link to your first armour build? I remember reading it somewhere...but I cant find it now...:doh
Thanks bro!

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
How heavy is aluminum or steel when you wear it? I may go for the steel on a set since it's only like $30.00 to make a set.
I still have my trash can sets in the works. (Darn I'm slow)
But my sister in law is here right now, so I'll ask her if she can sew my velcro on for my trash can armor then it'll be even closer.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
not a lot. you dont notice
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
XLNT!
Okay, the edges need to be curled right (obviously) so I dont cut myself or soft parts. I got some aviation snips, easy enough, but what do I need to form/curve it?
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
you dont have to. i think im the only one who does. but they are NOT curved.
i used pliers
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
so the plates are flat? I thought the conformed to the shape of the chest like my trash can style?
OH IDEA!! I CAN WRAP THE STEEL AROUND TRASH CAN PLATES?!
Think that'll be ok?
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
nope not flat.
pointless. if you want thicker armor, bend the edges or get thicker plate steel
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
bending edges to look thicker, AH much better, but just bend the plates a little to contour correct? I like how yours look.

Or, you could use this:

to form your plates. makes em REALLY nice. :D
yeah, and sorry C720...we are threadjackers...

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
You know what; it's quiet alright. It gave me some information of what I really can do with this set of mando armor and what I can work on. I would of signed on today at 6:00a.m. but had a dentist appointment to finish through the last three fillings I had in my mouth. After that and after the numbness went away went out and ate at Culver's with mom and sister then returned home after getting a college book for PVCC.
The information is good to know. But the set of armor that my mom is helping me get is a good well price except for shipping but she said not to worry about it. It will save me a lot more instead of having to go out and buy a bunch of materials to make the armor. I'll still need some velcro peaces and stuff to attach the armor with but I'm fine with that.
Depending on what I'm doing during the weakeneds we will have to see what comes through. If I do manage to get the stuff I'm recieving help with I'll still continue through with the cardboard stuff but will just give it to my nephew for a helmetless coustume for him for halloween. Figure I'd be nice LOL!

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Red and black is prettymuch my colorscheme too...
Heres a pic or two of my helmet.
(Need a second layer on it, though...I'll have that on in a bit)
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I'll have a pic of my full costume as soon as I find that perfect cape and bend and paint the thigh guards and finish my second layer on that helmet and paint the rangefinder...
And so on.
Oh yes...
I actually didn't order a new visor...
I got a bit inventive, as 15 bucks was a bit much, and this costume really isn't gonna be my first, so I might as well save some of that money.
I bought this bandana, cut it up a bit, taped it to my helmet, discovered I could see through it and nobody could see in as long as my head was in there...
So, I think I saved a bit of money on that.
Did I?

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
A'den you can use the planishing technique to achieve what were talking about.
that is however the only way to really make metal armor, unless you've a nice trailer hitch!
:D
sorry to hear you wont be making metal armor with us. will you still be coming to make your vest and or hang out and see how armor is made and ask all the questions you want? ton of people coming.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I'll move my butt over to Wal*Mart and get some material for the vest. And if luck holds true then I'll show up to the party and see what its all about to get the vest made. No worries and thanks!!!

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I have a super Wal*Mart down where I live around 19th and Bell not sure. But that's where I went to get some supplies for the armor. I'm going to return to get the paint.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
well what? she doesnt have to post every day.....
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Yeah there is really nothing for me to post at the moment guys. I am starting up at PVCC tomorrow which is indeed a good thing. But as a small update with the cardboard that I'm working on (which will probally be handed over to my nephew after I get the other stuff) I managed to get it all set up with a smoother surface of the cereal box's. They look really good. When I get the chance I'll post them up. But for now nothing is really going on at the moment.
I'm waiting to get my Jango helmet and the other armor. So pretty much that is it aside from painting which I'll probaly begin on my weapon soon as I get over to Super Wal*Mart where I live. And those wireless adapters I'm going to pry those open tomorrow after class. I'm just glad I only got one class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It gives me time to do stuff afterwards.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I assume PVCC is community college? IF so, good going, I did the CC thing back in the day, and never finished... I did get certifications for CNA then LVN, and am a Licensed vocational Nurse (or LVN=Least Valued Nurse ;) ).
I am getting my prereq's out of the way via CLEP and Dantes tests, and will hopefully get my BSN and become an RN (Retarded Nurse :) ) in about a year or two.
Take your time on the armor Vod, I am chugging along, I just asked the sister-in-law if she would sew my industrial velcro on to my vest and she agreed, cool.
Good luck in your college and will wait patiently for updates on the armor.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Adonian: my wife's doing the same route for her professional education! lol
CC720: Like Adonian said... keep chuggin' along. No harm in taking ur time and getting it right! That's my philosophy (which is also a handy cover for procrastination and laziness!!!) lol. not to mention u have bigger, better RL things to deal with. Ur making progress, that's what's important.

Yeap....Paradise Valley Community College. I was aiming in for a Vet. Tech. degree but that changed to RN then changed over to computer technology. Hopefully, it wont change but I am a full-time student into this stuff and I am gaining some help with the armor. I got till October 31st for the Saboten Con I'll be going to with a friend so it is better for taking time.
Photos will be up soon of the cardboard stuff possibly tonite.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
all three are good career choices, remember nursing cant be out sourced, you can always do the 2 year LVN/LPN thing, I make $26.00 an hour working Psych which is... contrary to popular belief the EASIEST field in nursing.
But you have to follow your own path, no one can choose it for you... Princess Lea moment there :)
Oh great now I gotta watch Star Wars EPIV tomorrow ;)

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Yeah....I have four years of NJROTC experience behind me and that leadership will come through if I decide on something that involves that hard core leadership. And joining in with you mandos out here in Phoenix, AZ; I could probally teach a thing or two about military marching and all that. LOL!
If that is you are willing to learn it LOL! You don't have to.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
fyi, if any of the mandos I know form out here are the ones that are in the AZ Mercs, you'd learn from us. a bunch of ex army, USMC and Navy troopers here.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Well its not going to be this week but it's going to be next week counting that I have to get some extra stuff for school. I got the books but they handed us the sylabus today of things we will need for class so those will be coming first this week. Then next week the order will be placed for the Jango Fett helmet and the sintra armor peaces.
Then the week after next I believe on Tuesday I'll be heading off to a Nickelback concert around 6p.m. so most of that day I'll be gone counting that I have three classes then after those classes I'll be haeding to the jobing.com areana for the concert. But before that I am hoping to get the paint and finish the painting of the armor peaces and helmet up then work on the gauntlets.
I'm just happy that I am getting some support from this with family and all. It must be the whole thing of me going into college LOL! I guess that is what happens when you achieve something great. LOL!

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Hey guys, hopefully everyone is having a good time. I know I am...counting that I finally have a chance to post what is coming up with the cardboard version of the armor. I managed to pull everything together and get some nice looking photos out of it all. The Mod Podge I put on the armor peaces gave it the exact look I was wanting. Except when two peaces got stuck together the mod podge ripped off so I had to re-do the neck peace.
But overall it turned out really good. I pulled everything together for the armor and took some photos of what it will look like when painted. Granted I don't have my bucket yet but it is getting up there in its stages. And until the sintra and bucket comes I'll be working on this until then. For now here are some photos.
http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...0acee2f08f.jpg
http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...1deb12a6dd.jpg
After taking that photo I decided to show off the soft supplies I'll be incorporating into the costume. The short sleeves will remain as such until I can get an actual flight suit. It's that whole budget deal but I got it coming along well. Also there is a photo of the boots I'll be using as well. I had a decision between a brown set of steel toes and my ATV riding set so I choose the ATV set. Looks good if I say so myself.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I'd like to appologize for not making it to the armor party for those who are in Arizona. I truly did try and get myself to go but I just became really busy and plus a friend invited me over for some fun around two or three o'clock so I could not even make it and plus there was a deal with our vehicles which stopped me so....yeah. Hopefully, if another comes up soon I'll make it. And thats a promise.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I'm starting to get a little mad now....someone is trying to tell me to go and rent one which I really don't see the need to as it will be my own design and renting is to much. I really hope that this works out for me or else I wont have a costume to complete! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume

Sorry hun, do you need this done by a certain time, I'm all confuzzled now!

Oh no another JROTC kid! lol jk jk... we had a lot of AFJROTC kids who came up to my detachment AFROTC Det290 University of Kentucky. About half of 'em usually made it through to get their bars so that's a pretty good success rate considering my det only commissioned about 33% of people who started as freshmen by the time I graduated. I hear that they're having a higher success rate now thanks to better recruiting from... JROTC. Anyhow... sorry to go on a tangent...lol but, I think u made a good choice for your college program. A lot of ppl I know who got computer engineering/computer programing degrees are doing well now. Good luck!

I like KFC, does that help? :)

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Thanks guys....I am an expert at computers and am itching to further my knowledge with them. I had to fix my computer once without parents help and it worked wonders for me LOL!
And Saz; KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken)? What is up with that.
Yeah I told that you can't rent these type of costumes and that it takes a while to make. I even said I got it from you guys but trying to play smarts the person that told me said "You guys don't know nothing!" I am like they know more then you and me with this stuff LOL! So the sentra stuff is still working through. Hopefully thursday the stuff will be on order. And hopefully I'll be going to get some paint by that time.
I've been also working in with the cardboard stuff of designs and have gotten through it. Looks good....photos will be up really soon of the designs that I am working towards for the armor.

Anyway, went some soul searching on sites yesterday to search for a good size (yet affortable) Jango Fett helmet. Nothing has come up yet but hopefully today after class we will have something down and put the order in for a helmet.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Hey guys I've been pretty busy over the days; I guess it gave me a break of not having to worry about my mando armor. Anyway, about five or so days ago I worked with the cardboard stuff on what type of battle damage would be put into the armor when the sentra stuff arrives. It turned out really good counting that I used only a sharpie LOL! But here was the result of it all.
http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...ddc7f3f361.jpg
http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...0d11b05496.jpg
What made me mad during the whole process was when some of the Mod Podge was removed from the neck peace of the armor. I had to apply four more coats to get the shinness back. What really ticked me off was when there was a bunch bumps and lines from the removed Mod Podge. But as I thought about it more and looked at it I thought I'd give it a try with what it would look like with battle damage. It turned out really good and I was well impressed.
Right now my neck peace is my favorite because of how well it turned out.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
okay I'm a newbie also but making a bucket for you costume really wouldn't be hard. i spent 10 bucks on a skater helmet for the dome and about 15 bucks on other supplies and this is what i came up with it's still a WIP but it's getting there.
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/pictu...188148&thumb=1
Just don't forget to download wizards templates they are really awesome as for armor go the trash can route doesn't cost much at all.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
seems like all of you are out west. =( anyone in Florida i want to go to an armor party and hang out. That would be a blast.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
That really looks good there my friend. I actually have looked up ways to make a mando helmet. One way was with cardboard which is what the plates are that you see before you. But I am not sure if it would hold up. I'm looking in getting a rubies version from ebay or a site. But whatever comes up I'll post it.
Yeah I don't have the cutting materials for trash can armor. People have been telling to not use cardboard but so far it is coming out really nice and firm.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Commander come on, a cardboard bucket will be much MUCH better than a rubies, I made mine both from priority mail envelopes (same as cereal boxes) then resin and glass in stratigic areas then bondo... I know you've seen my buckets, and A'den's. We made ours from cardboard... PAPER and bondo, they are VERY sturdy, and MUCH EASIER TO MAKE THAN YOU THINK... I was very sceptical at first, and failed 1/2 through putting the first one together with paper, but then transferred the paper ON TO cardboard with a glue stick, then cut, tape, resin, glass, bondo, sand sand sand more bondo, more sand... well you get the drift..
Hope I dont sound like a butthead here, but IF I CAN DO IT ANYONE CAN :b
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
haha listen to adonian! he knows what he's doing :lol and ya MAKE SURE YOU TRANSFER IT TO CARDBOARD! Its very hard to hold paper and bondo it at he same time! :lol just a heads up if you decide to make your own, vod :D
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Whatever you do dont try to use lexon! it'll snap then your going to huff and puff about the 20 bucks you just lost. trust me happen to me today. oh i was pissed lol so i made some trash can armor to calm down.
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/pictu...pictureid=1461
was really easy actually just took a bit. need to finish the cod, cut a new collar cause i melted part of it with my blowtorch and cut out the back need another trash can lol 10 bucks at wal-mart.

-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
adonian, that might be true, however the $33.00 spent on a jango bucket and it looks top notch when done might be the better route for someone who does not have the facilities to fiberglass indoors or outdoors or due to parents, etc.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
true, I have seen the rubies conversions and they have been nice, and technically that counts as diy since you do have to fix it to use it.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
well you can use it as is with a coat of paint like i have done. no one can really tell.
:D:D
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Yeah, I got one, but I have one HUGE MELLON on top of my shoulders so it dont fit (well not with my glasses on anyway)

Really? I've used paper the last few helmets I've made and it works fine as long as you hold the inside with a gloved hand (wear the glove!!! Bondo gets HOT!!! Exothermic reactions tend to do stuff like that, which I should have known the first time I did it and burned the hell outta my fingers...;):wacko:lol)

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
really? never had that happen!

hehe...I over mix the hardener so it dries faster...:D I hate waiting, so I get mine to dry in something like two minutes, then off to sand with it! :b but that makes it get really hot...:lol

That is why I am searching through the sites for one of those rubies jango helmets. Seems a little better for me. LOL! I have a small head so it will work well

PM me if you want the link.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Ebay and a star wars costume site is where I have been looking up for my mando helmet. Prices are a little high espically for those collector edition helmets. But I rather have the traditional style that way I can add my own things into the helmet to make it look kick @$$. LOL!
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
The rubies 2 piece is "almost" traditional style.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I would figure; I've heard from others of using the 2 piece style.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Sorry guys I have not been on to tell you all how everything is going. I have been busy over the days dealing with school stuff for college and all that. The armor is still in progress and I am hopping to get some stuff posted up. And plus my computer keyboard started messing up with sticky keys so I could barley type. Luckily, I was able to get a new keyboard and this one lights up LOL! But yeah more stuff is on the way.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
aaaarghh!!! Sticky Keys!!! lol yeah I know the feeling... sticky keys ar evil! I wish my keyboard lit up... then I could actually see my keys while typing at night... oh well good thing I learned the keyboard young! Hey speaking of school how's that going? U're going for a comp sci degree of some kind right?
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
yeah my space bar doesn't work to well have to really whack it. lol my bucket is in the glass phase fun fun fun. need to bend some plastic today. next weekend going to make a vacuum form table. =D
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Yeah my space bar, my arrow keys, and some of the numbers on the number pad on the right were messing up. Really I had to wack my space bar to get it to space in between words LOL! But yeah my keyboard lights up red, blue, and purple. I keep it on purple because it is my favorite color LOL! When I type on a computer I can type without looking at the keys. And I type fast.
School; is doing good. On mondays, wednesdays, and fridays I have only one class. Then on tuesdays and thursdays I have three classes. My computer class is my last class of the day on those days. But yeah I am working in for my computer tech degree. I already know enough about the computer to where my family asks me to fix the computers in our home and out of home. Maybe I should start charging to fix computers LOL!
----Small Update----
You already know of me using a Nerf Longshot for my weapon choice for the armor. Well today I went to Wal*Mart to get some cleaning supplies to clean up the kitchen and some stuff for laundry and I came across that Clone Commander Blaster toy. I know many use Nerf weapons with their armor so I decided to buy the clone commander blaster and use it for my mando armor. And the good thing about is I can switch what style of weapon my mando can use LOL! I find it pretty sweet!!!!
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
yeah I've been wanting to try one of those blasters out... how's it compare size wise? Is it a decent size or is it a bit small?
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
In terms of DC-15S blaster it is relatively the size you would normally want for the short version of the weapon. The pistol really has no see in it; really I have not even considered using pistol version. The DC-15A (the longer version of the rifle) seems a little shorter then what you see with the normal one that we all like. But overall it has been something I wanted to use for my armor because its a clone weapon and I have a strong interest in clone stuff LOL! I'll take a few photos and post them up today after class.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
awesome!! can't wait, was thinking about getting one for my daughter, she loves Clone Troopers, has the lil clone trooper costume that we got her at Toys'R'Us for Christmas, and I thought it'd go perfect with it, just didn't know about size.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I agree! that clone blaster looks pretty cool :D Might pick one up sometime :thumbsup
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
gonna have to paint it though vod. got my bucket all sanded going to prime tomorrow sand smooth again with fine then do the silver undercoat. :D

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
definate painter! I hate how all of a sudden all star wars blasters that come out are white and blue. Fortunatly i got a clone blaster before that started :D

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
it's called blatently obvious to police that it's not a real gun so that they don't shoot kids for playin' with 'em.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
They'll still shoot, trust me, cops these days are mostly a bunch of cowards, I mean how many does it take to give a moving violation, I saw a little old lady pulled over with 3 cars on her, and seriously not 2 blocks over, there was another stop with 2 cars.
I know that now a days their job is much more dangerous, but really if 5 cop cars are stopping 2 cars within 2 blocks, whats really going on.
Just my rant sorry. I do appreciate the hard work they do, but their image is really tarnished and they don't seem to care.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
It's actually ok over here, the worst we get are career officers who will find anything to book you on so their report and arrest rate is good and they get in line for promotion, so, no matter how reasoned you are they're going to find a way to have you.
Our Police are tarnished but remember, ours don't carry guns as standard, so it takes a bit of guts to walk to a window not knowing if the driver's going to pull anything on you.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
The Cops are okay here in AZ but they can be a little strick. My dad got pulled over a few days ago and the cop just came up and said "You are getting a ticket". I actually can see why with my dad and I am not going to explain it but cops are just those people who have a problem with weapons usually. I am suprised they dont shoot a stormtrooper for carrying his E-11 Blaster.
If painting does come to that then my gun is going to be red and black.
-
Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
The funny thing is I have real guns, so all I gotta do is paint the tip orange and they wont shoot me? :lol yeah right :lol
I will admit I got pulled over the same night I saw all those cops, but I got lucky, I was in my scrubs, and had my work ID on me, and the cop recognized where I work.
I asked him if he had a delivery for me, and he laughed. He was a rookie I could tell, because his SGT was in the car waiting.
He let me off with a warning, he originally pulled me over for not having a front plate which is NOT a moving violation so they aren't allowed to stop me for that which is proof that they just pull people over to make cr@p up.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
you live in califorina tho... aka Communist America! lol jk jk... don't get angry! lol I'm from Kentucky, we don't have a whole lot of problems with our police there, except in the bigger cities. We also have no problems with people who carry guns (legally of course) as long as you are following the law. Handguns must be holstered unless you have a really good reason to draw it or you are in transit to/from somewhere where you have a legit reason for having it out an visible, and if u don't have a CCW permit, it must be plainly visible even when holstered. Rifles are usually required to be carried unloaded unless using them for sporting/hunting/recreational use. In my small town hometown, nobody really cares as long as you aren't being stupid and or threatening someone with it. Here in FL where I'm stationed now, the laws are very similar to KY, concealed carry is allowed with a permit (mine from KY is valid here) otherwise recreational/self defense use of a non-concealed firearm is okay. I've never actually seen/heard of anyone in the US (except in Cali) havin' trouble with the police over their toy guns for cons... usually ppl in costumes are a source of ammusement for the police. That being said, I've stayed a while in KY, FL, TN, AL, and GA and never had any trouble with the police, but they do seem to think they need a lot of officers for a routine traffic stop. 2 on a suspicious stop I can understand... but anymore is overkill unless u have a good reason.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
you have no reason to fear the police in AZ or anywhere else.
the cops in AZ will not bother you abotu a toy gun. Ive been at tons of events and seen cops there.
the question however, is the same as airsoft. are you wearing it in costume? did you randomly point it at people? are you brandishing it?

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Not sure how the police are everywhere else in the country but i do know that here in florida they are evil evil people. They will really pull you over for no reason then decide what they are going to try to get you with. no joke

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
well LEO's have somethign called probable cause. so... if your licence plate ligth is out, you fail to make a signal, weave slightly, have a plate cover, or even text while driving they can pull you over to see IF there is anythign else they can get you for.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Without a doubt. (Though I have my permit) and when I drive I don't even answer my phone when people call. It's a thing that I have decided to do when I start driving. There will be no talking for me on the phone unless it is necessary and I need to know how to get somewhere.
I do remember a few years back when me and my family went to Illionois for a Wisconsin trip and we got pulled over for speeding. You don't want to mess with those Illionois cops.
I know here in AZ they are getting those speed cameras up as well. My mom got flashed for speeding on the way to work. Then a couple of days ago my dad got pulled over for speeding and following to close to another car. Basically, you don't want to tangle with cops. I've seen cops and I have met with a few (not going to state the reason). But AZ cops are a little different then what other states have I know that for sure. Like some of the states require a front plate of their car; AZ nope....we have it made here unless you count the weather and being hot.....LOL!

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
don't pay the speed cameras. they aren't real ticket unless they are served to you by a sworn officer or process server. its the states way of ripping people off. why do you think Scottsdale's don't work anymore. the townsfolk complained, and they shut them off.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
That's a reason as to why my family does not live in Scottsdale. Well my family calls it Snobbsdale. Sorry for those of you who do live there but we think Scottsdale people think they are to good for us people who live in Phoenix. I am happy where I am and plus from visiting Scottsdale on Saturday we got lost because of all the turns they had.
But the weapon photos will be up tonight.....

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
I figured to go ahead and post these up before I became busy again. I am having family coming down from Wisconsin to visit us and cleaning the house his putting a hold on it all. But while I am on I might as well post the photos up of the clone blaster that I will be using for the armor.

Re: NEW! Custom Bounty Hunter Costume
Wal*Mart. They sell them there for about $30.00; really it depends on where you live. But I love how it can change from the DC-15S version to a pistol and then the DC-15A version. My favorite is the DC-15S blaster rifle. So that is what I will be using for my armor.
Well I decided to take a small break and we had family from Wisconsin come down and visit us here in good old Phoenix, Arizona. Because they had a one night stay here we decided to take them to South Mountain and get a good view of the city of Phoenix. This is a photo I took with my new camera phone and let me tell you I did not know it would take that good of a picture.

This is also my first time up South Mountain. I know I have been living here most of my life and I never went up South Mountain. LOL!
