A'den's out of town, actually he's quite close to my place. He's in Cali for the weekend, so he wont be working on the bucket, but I believe he will be working on the lights for the ear caps, he's good at stuff like that.
Hopefully he'll have us updated on Tuesday when he gets home.

    Re: New bucket

Alright vode! I am home and SOME work has been done. I have the LEDs for the earcaps done and ready to install (did that while i was in cali). today i managed to get a little work done; i made a mold of the earcaps and cast a set in bondoglass. it is still drying, so i will HOPEFULLY sand them and install them tommorow night. and if i do that, ill put the lights in and post pics. i still need to order an EL strip for the visor. :/
Thanks for the kind words and PLEASE try and be patient with me; real life is trying hard to distract me from building this thing...

Arizona might or might not be hotter than Florida. But Florida does has a lot of humidity. And the beach isn't always a good escape, sometimes it hotter! I have no idea about the visor vod. I myself am looking for a visor too.

    Re: New bucket

I'm thinking you could buy a halo helmet for a cheap price one cut and modify the visor from that to fit. I know they made one little one for Xbox360 that came with a box for holding games, yes it's a smaller scale but the visor might still work.

    Re: New bucket

Alright, here are some minor updates...

the earcaps are a lot more time consuming than i thought, so i only have one partially done...

I need to seal the bottom and put a top cap on it...still trying to find a picture with the correct design...

My light kit (the full one) is ready to install, all i need to do is drill the holes in the helmet for the wires.

    A'den

    PS: and paint it.
