I came up with these sketches..
my idea for my custom mando JP



and I've decided to re-work the color scheme a bit.. and I'm adding more design to the armor.. especially the helmet...

yeah, at first I wasn't planning on a JP at all.. but I figured I'd take a shot at creating one and see how it goes.

I plan on stenciling/painting the design on my helmet tomorrow.
Going with a bone white. I will also age/burn/slash the soft components.. age the paint job and what not.

I'm going to wear it this coming weekend.
Of course I won't have the JP done by then.. but the progression into my mando-metamorphasis will have begun.

Cool bucket. I like the vents actually. Was that a Rubies helmet which had the half visor and you covered it with something? Or did you specifically plan it that way? If so I couldn't imagine it. I change my mind so often about the design (or lack thereof) that it's not practical for me to try and stick to the same regimen...Anyway, looks great. Do you have any pics of your armor etc yet? I'd like to check them out when and/or if you have some available...

nope, no armor upgrades as of yet.

yep, rubies jango.. I didn't like that little line in my visor.. and I wanted to do something different..

I like the original design you threw in your visor...very BSG...very cool.

When are you starting the jet pack. I love the way it looks. Has that sort of mean look. Just what a bounty hunter needs.

Looked awesome this past weekend Jen! The vents are my fav part, now that it has been mentioned it does kinda look Cylonish. Must be why I liked it so much.

I believe that video was outside the MC Chris show we were trooping.. that was a crazy/fun night!

What did you use to make the vents? Is it an everyday item or did you build them yourself?

ah! the magic that is Plastruct

architechtual/modeling supplies. We seel them at my store.. hence a great discount for me.

gotta love plastruct, the modelers answere to almost anything. ive used that stuff all too often
