Su'cuy vode, I got another question. I know I have a lot of them, but I couldn't find anything with search. I was looking through all the custom weapons on here, when my little brother came over and saw the modded nerf guns. He told me he had the nite finder and he gave it to me to use. I was looking on ebay for a holster to add to my belt to carry it as my sidearm, but I don't think the gun would fit in any of them. Does anyone know any that it would fit into? If not how do you make custom holsters?

I don't know if you have an ACE hardware ( or porbably any hardware store for that matter), But for construction workers tool belts they have holsters for drills and what not. They were between 10 to 15 dollars each. So might be another option for you

Hagen has a really good idea there, and a very good one at that. It's also not very hard to make holsters of your own if you choose to. I made my own pistol holsters outta leather and they work great.

Ok, I've done plenty of things now, I'll be posting pictures soon. I'm working on my helmet right now, it's a rubies Jango helmet. I'm gonna get a bm helmet later on, but for now this is what I'm using. I've been sanding it til the paint comes off and it is blue. Is this what I'm supposed to do, or am I doing more work than I need to?

I wouldn't sand it to far down or you may make it to thin in parts. Your best bet is to just rough it up so that primer will stick, then put your paint on.

Man my phone's memory card is acting up, the only picture it lets me access on my computer is my blaster. I'll put up the other pictures when I can.

Thanks everyone, I guess I'm my own worst critic, I haven't liked anything I've done so far. My sister keeps telling me everything is looking good, but all I see are the flaws in my work ha ha. Here's the armor I have so far:

    My helmet:

and my sidearm so far, I still have to add some more to it before I paint it:

I'm going to Florida next week, and then on the 25th I'm going to San Francisco for an anime convention, I would like to have something wearable by then. After that I will upgrade my chest plate and collar into the swg style. I also have a very cool idea for my gauntlets, but it'll take to time for me to actually figure out a way to make them.

It's a really good start man! Just don't criticize yourself based on SWG mando. It's a **** poor rendition of mando in my opinion.

Your weathering on the helmet looks great! Nothing like seeing another SWG inspired mando come together =D

This is what I have so far:

Hmmm.... I seemed to have misplaced my chest diamond...
Anyway I have to go get my camera back from my sister, I hate how my phone camera washes out the color,

Tom Hodges I believe, it is my favorite picture. I wish I could get it poster sized.

Are these pictures of some sort of new Mandalorian armor from the game? Because when I played pre-NGe I don't remember it being weathered like that Or the skull on the shoulders for that matter.

Your suit looks awesome. You're progressing really fast. Let's see a fit test!

The weathering and mando skull are a game mod you can add, however only you or others with the mod can see it.

I agree with Mercke, your just about ready for a test fit =D

I first saw the picture in a star wars magazine that my sister gave me because it had an article on Mandalorians, it had the mando wedding picture in it too. I recently found the pictures on wookieepedia. I always thought that it was Orade only older than in his previous picture, since he's wearing the same colors as his dad Vevut:

And in bloodlines, it says that he has short hair, a beard, and a broken nose. But I was looking at the illustrations someone did of Sacrifice and they had Orade with red/silver armor if I'm not mistaken.
Anyway on to my armor, I did a test fitting today, I used some old shin guards for the arms because I thought it looked bare with nothing on them, I am not keeping them, it was just for the picture, I also did not put the straps on for the leg armor that's why they are just hanging there. I just need to save up for my gauntlets and make some knee armor.

    The backplate:

I see I have to make ALOT of improvements on my armor, this is my first time doing ANYTHING like this so I think I did alright. Oh yeah, ignore the luggage and mess, I'm getting ready for my trip to San Francisco.

Looks good man, looks real good. Once you get the leg armor attached more completely it'll look really good. And surprisingly, I don't have a problem with the leg armor on the forearms. Its a different look, but it works. Not every supercommando has the same gauntlets, right?
