My Gauntlets (Insane amount of pics)

Well i was gonna wait till i was 100% done with the gauntlets but... that's no fun :lol . besides i can bump the thread with progress pics.
Here's what I've done so far, please say everything and anything that comes to mind, good or bad. Any input is good input :thumbsup .

Here's the Ruffkin kit i got from Ripcode (:cheers ) right out of the box

First was the detail parts of the left gaunt (keypad, rocket... dental expander needs paint)

All that's left on the left gaunt is to finish and attach the flamethrower, attach the rocket (via bolts), and paint and attach the dental expander. :cheering

Man nice work, how long has it taken you to get this far?

i got the kit on 9/11, but waited 2 or 3 days to start it, so i'd say about a week or so.

Well at any rate it still looks great. I love the hinges and the magnets.

Did you use an airbrush?

:b no just some old fashioned spray paint... i needa get an air brush some day...

Sweet paint job then man, could have fooled me. Just invest in a cheapo one from eBay.

^I have both, and there is little difference imo, 'cept for the wider selection of paints the airbrush has.

Is the magnet system a good sytem for the gauntlets??

they worked great for me... makes the gauntlets feel nice and secure, but that's just my opinion :thumbsup

I think when I get my MOW gauntlets I am gonna go with magnets to keep them closed.

cleaned up the resin nozzle a bit (in the process of priming and painting)

here are the coaxial connectors suggested by TK409 (site), i plan on mounting them to the resin nozzle after i paint the nozzle black to "hide" it and let the connectors be the focus/ only part shown.
