My first build so far

WOOHOO!!! found 2 flightsuits at the surplus store for $15 EACH. and they are both white so i can dye them grey myself. this build is getting there. gotta get my vest sewn now.

mom is teaching me how to use the sewing machine. gonna put the sleeves on my suit, make a vest and neck seal then dye them all this week. moms are awesome. pics will follow as soon as i can post some.

the arms to my flightsuit were different material from the rest of the suit the dye didn't come out on the arms. got material and am going to sew new arms. got better material for the vest and neckseal, best part is don't need to dye them. had some problems getting the vest pattern to work but with some minor modifications got them to to not overlap without changing the dimensions. this is the toughest part by far.

here is some pics of my suit and vest.

this bites. you know how they say measure twice cut once. well i measured three times and cut once but measured wrong. didn't take into account tht the visor will not cover the upper outer corners unless you make it taller on the ends or taller in general. oh well time to try it again

just primed my verpine pistol. decided to go with modified boba fett gauntlets. designing my own was getting too frustrating. left gaunt is the most modified with the compass and datapad added in and the flame thrower taken out to stay true to Fi. I am using an etch and sketch for my screen and a calculator for the buttons. i'll post pics of those once i resin them.
