My first attempt, looking to tweak it

New Hunter
Hey everyone, this is my first attempt and I'm hoping to get some weathering done on it to make it look a little less "shiny". Any critiques will be welcome.

From those pics, the only thing I can really see is that you need to lower your girth belt a bit. It doesn't need to cover the bottom of your gut plate, and it should hide the top "wings" of your cod piece. You will have problems trying to bend forward without giving your gut plate some room to move.

If you can, get a strait-on front pic of you with both arms at your side. I can't tell, but your chest plates may be a tad big in these pics. If the top outside corners of the chest plates are an inch past the bottom outside corners of your collar piece, then that usually is a good signal they need to be cut a bit. Within an inch is usually ok, but over that and you start running into movement problems.

Something I notice on many people is that they don't space their armor correctly. You need around a thumb space between your chest and collar, chest and gut. a sideways index finger (like if your pointing at someoen) space between your chest and diamond. That 99% of the time is perfect spacing.

Looks alot like Ram Zerimar's armor. Same markings, same soft colors and similar armor colors.

It's all painted now so the only real weathering you can do is topical or, depending on how you layered your paint, you could attack it with a power sander with 60 grit paper.

Yeah I noticed that also when I saw it. Ray doesn't wear the set that Karen wrote him in anymore, but that is the pattern on his cannonized set. I doubt he would have an issue with someone using his patterns...but its always good form to ask.

you can reach him at: mandaloriansniper@yahoo.com He will more than likely return your email, and he won't bite.

The colouring is sweet. You've done a top job and very interested to see it all! Do you plan on a JP? Can't wait to see the colouring on that as well.

The patterns are amazing! Suddenly I'm reminded of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. The general shape looks similar...anyways, the armor is great!

that my friend is awsome looking

very reminiscent of ram

one thing i would suggest is that with all the incredible details on the body armour...the bucket looks a little plain

it if was me id slap some of the brown/bronze details on the bucket too

then id go topical and weather the **** outa it...but thats me lol

whatever you do thats a wiked kit

I think the range finder is on the other side because he took this pic in the mirror? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The paint job is wicked cool - did you paint this or are they decals? But the helmet does need something to match the awesomeness of the armor.

I'm still freaking out over the sheer awesomeness of this armour!!!!!! :love:D:lol:

This is prolly my favorite set of beskar'gam ive ever seen!!!

Great work!!!
:cheers
