My Custom Mando Project

Test fitting: very good idea!(y) It gives you an idea of what needs to be moved and by how much. I can never tell if something is out of place until I see a picture of myself wearing the costume.

I like the gauntlet/glove concept. Think you could build up on them a little? It kind of looks a little plain in that area.

well to be honest the gauntlets are only temporary,as i'm getting some jango gauntlets that i'm going to repaint in the metallic black and silver theme of my helmet.

as they're going to be a few weeks i just needed something to break the space up and made those one's.

i've got a BIG troop tomorrow in nottingham(uk) with my group and although i have a damn fine vader i wanted a comfortable costume too.

thanks for the input people.I'll post some better pictures soon.

i had a few teething problems with my costume on saturday,

i had already done 3 hours dressed as vader then i went to change into my mando but the heat had already warmed up the velcro and i...err...went to pieces so to speak,so i'm going over to snaps.

i'm also designing a backpack instead of a jet pack as i want to be different.

more progress pics soon.

Heat can do that =D Especially if your using a vinyl vest for your armor. The glue will react with the vinyl in some instances and peel off. Some Mercs members found this out the hard way =(
