My Custom Mando - 99% Complete

Knee pads here, hoses there, girth belts everywhere , and with a few more greebles I could say 100%. But for now, I'm 99% finished with my costume. Here it is, folks...






And even though my son's soft goods aren't done, hew wanted in on the action, too.

That looks real good.
But one thing I noticed, the plates look a bit dull with the grey paint.

But then again If you like it then that is all that matters.

Yeah, the dull grey is intentional. In-universe, it's the same concept as the Shadow Trooper with their masking armor. That's not what mine is supposed to be, but just the same general idea, like radar jamming...stuff.

Thanks FF! I'll be sure to tell him. His Mando name is Jauri, for the record. I never said that before now, so no one else knew either.

I've actually made several modifications since the last time I posted here.

This is my V2 armor...





I've already scrapped the gauntlets and started on new ones.

And here my son Jauri's V2...







Now he wants a back plate and a jet pack.

NICE! I definitely like your V2 better! Great job on both costumes! Just one question. Your son gets that huge gat! Do you get the noisy cricket?

LOL! No, I have a Long Shot and we actually had to trade. After all the fussing he did for me to make that thing for him, he couldn't carry it for more than a few minutes. I tried to make it lighter, but no luck. I think it still weighs about 5 pounds, compared to a 1 or 2 pound Long Shot.

Cool update Vod, I love what you did to the V2, and your son's beskar'gam is awesome, I have started the hard parts for my 3 sons (9 years and twin 5 years) I just gotta make the buy'ce for the twins, the 9 year old has my old rubies Jango that I'm gonna mod.
