wow.nice colors!

inspires me to make a custom!

but i am still half done wif my jango....

anyways, its a DP97? or a 96?? nice dude...

if its a DP97....how come i dont see any reinforcement done? is ur bucket that strong?

just wondering coz i have a DP 97 myself, and am in the midst cutting out the the visor...which is a pain in the arse.

yeah it's a 97. I havent reinforced it yet because i dont know how to use fiberglass and it is pretty strong for a 97. The visor was a pain but I had a dremel so it went by really quick.

cool man. i like the black and silver, its so simple but so original. It looks for some reason like somthing a pilot would wear, im not sure why i think that tho.

If i would add something...maybe an emblem on the side cuz they are pretty blank, or some light shades of silver and grey on the silver area to show weathering. Or you could grin up some charcoal pencils and dust the silver part to make it look like the helmet has some burns.

Looks very cool

I've seen alot of Custom Mandalorian helmets in my day, but yours is one of the top 5 best! Awesome job with the whole paint job, just one thing - I'd add alittle more weathering on the sides.. other then that, Awesome helmet!

Looks Awesome! Reminds me of the Mandalorian Police Patrol...Hey Krillnb fiberglassing is really easy!!!
You should reinforce your helmet, i did my DP97.

Update:
Okay, I added a green LED to the top of the RF and a yellow one to the bottom. It has a little on/off switch on the top.

I can't really think of a good symbol to put on the side, any suggestions or pics?

Also I thought I would paint the back part white to give it more color, then I would weather that part as well. What do you all think?

For a symbol I'd say maybe try going through the Aurabesh alphabet and see what you like or try spelling something out possibly.

Just out of curiousity what did you use inside the helemt for head support?

OOO  Aurabesh, good idea.

For support I used the padding from an old bike helmet and I chopped up an old red foam finger for the rest.

Hey...getting my feet wet

I'd suggest looking at different alphabets too. Lots of things have emblems, look at the buttons of a sports coat, they usually have emblems on them. Or browse through military emblems from other countries. Dont completely lift the military emblem, just use the base.

ok guys, i didnt wanna start up a new thread so i'm posting this here. I modded my switch-led setup to a rc led setup with the toggle switch. I wired it to a brocken zip zap's(mini RC car) pc board. It took about 15 minutes and cost me all of nothing cause i had everything laying around.

Here is a video clip.

EDIT: fixed the clip and changed link, it is now encoded in divX 5.0.3

Yeah, i'm gonna do the armor as well. But right now i'm figuring out how to make a motorized rf without it being rc. IE: i put all the components in the helmet and push the button from inside the helmet. Not that cool looking but it still looks better than pushing the thing up and down manually.

more comments?

BTW: Thanks for all your encouraging compliments everyone.
