Mrs.slave1pilot's Femm Mando in progress

Looks great as usual. The speed at which you paint your projects is always impressive.

You may already intend to add details, but it would be cool to see a lot more little scratches. I was looking at the paint job over in this thread:

http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=20343

lotsa little details there, like the middle part on that rocket pack you just painted. Also, this may sound cool or not (pink mando helmets venture deeply into the realm of subjective opinion), but maybe if it had a... red visor, or some colored visor? like this:

Looks really good...the only thing I might do is kinda roughen up the scratch edges...it looks like you threw paint drops in some spots. If you sanded them that way, try sanding them a little more to make the edges more jagged. Or maybe I'm just being anal. lol

Either way, you did a fantastic job, and the color scheme works great. :)

You are exactly right.
i had some issues with the grey not scratching easily. So the scratches just look like the liquid mask
I'm gonna see what I can do with the grey
Maybe outline the scratches topically with some darker grey

The pink was much better & turned out fine

Or a pink visor! ;) I love it, it looks great! Although I think I personaly would of made it less girly. ;)

EDIT - OH!!!!! Its your wife's........Suuuuuuurrrrrreeee  I'm just kidding. ;) :)

Perfect, lovei t dude, great work.

My only beef is that if it's a transparent pink visor. Some here have used red transpartent visors, and you can see through to your face as light as day, and it doesn't look all that good IMO. I have no problem with colored visors, but I would suggest either a darkend pink visor or you could tint a black visor into pink, like the RC's and clones over at CT.N/501st do to make there visors blue or other colors. and it's also still ok to see through. Just the same stuff motorcycleists use

Here's the florida 501st garrison talking about with some gold and red tinted (look at the very bottom of the 1st page for the red tinted ARC helmet) visor samples.

Here's one at clonetroopers.net (CT.N) with blue tinted RC visors

I installed a Green visor (had 1 laying around)
I added the RF ( It's off a 96 Don Post)
These are both temporary
These pics are inside with flash.
