Mirta Gev

Oh lucky me! I got the new book, Sacrifice, and it seems that Mitra has updated her armor!
Now she has a FULL suit complete with Jet Pack (and perhaps a cape) AND a helmet.
D:
That means the helmet that's I've been "making for fun" will have to be taken seriously. Lucky since it's suppose to be a new helmet I won't have to deal with dents or fake paint chippings.
Oh gosh more work.

Picked me up a Jango bucket kit. A little putty and a little burning and it's rather good. I still have to replace the random plastic square with the leans I found. I'm still painting my bucket, ran out of white XD. But yeah I went for the Gray/black/white combo. I also had to add more transplant plastic to the inside because I felt the original was too thin.

Then I got me a cheep water gun. I still have to paint in the little details with a brush. And I can still shoot water out of it:D

(this is the camera/leans I found, is it good?)

Also found this odd bag laying around. It's a hard plastic, smooth. Jet Pack? I would have to change the straps to face the other way to make a sort of backpack:

I got a job audition to work on so I wont be able to work on my suit for a while. Oh poo.

Looking good so far, I have read the books and would love to see this character brought to life. Keep the pics coming, cant wait to see more.

Hmmm, My mum got the bag a while ago from a thrift shop.
The only logo I can find on it is TRU
Though I think it's a rather small chubby bag/jet pack. Great for a girl like me...

I'm planing on using more plastic for the armor... except for the chest pieces, I wanna see if I can find/work sintra.

I'm also going to dress my sister up as Alyin.
XD

No, her helmet's suppose to be new, so I guess it'll only have a little bit of dirt on it, but mostly it's nice and clean.

Thanks Deadfleet

looking good.I love how you are using found parts. It is always fun turning junk into treasures.
I spend a lot of time in the thrift shops.lol

Did you sand and prime the pistol before paint?
:p
Not really. Only enough to get rid of the logos. I personally don't mind the seam that runs along the top/bottom.

As for priming... oops forgot about that. Though I'm scratching it with my nail and the paints not coming off, so it should be fine. o_O I hope.

I'm having the hardest time getting the side parts to stick onto the main base of the jet pack. I even tried nailing the bottles to the bag but I couldn't get a screw through the plastic... even with a power drill.

I was saying to sand it so the paint would have something to stick to, sometimes without sanding and priming it doesn't stick.
