    Okay.

I revamped my blaster last night. The pictures I posted earlier are actually quite old, and between the revamp and other various tweaks I've done over time, the weapon looks alot different now. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow.

Its not hard =D The main thing is making sure you have enough. I have just enough for these 2 holsters and thats it.

Wow Novall, thanks so much! That tutorial is great, and I've got a pretty good image in my head of how that will work.

    Thanks! :thumbup

Okay, I've completely revamped the blaster. It's 1000 times better now.

Repainted the grips to give them a better ivory look.

    Weathered alot.

Added two rings on the left side of the mag.

Installed a new scope rack. This was custom made by me and (painstakingly!!!) attached to the side body. It can now hold 2 different scopes (see pics).

Now to work on that holster.

    Enjoy

Is that a scope or a grenade launcher?

I Have the same scope on my carbine. It's got a crosshair light inside it that you can turn off and on. Pretty smooth scope honestly =D

    Some more progress.

I've finished cutting out all the armor and will begin painting it as soon as I am happy with the shape of the neckpiece.

I've also acquired a new vibroblade:

And before anyone says it, yes, I am aware that blades are not allowed in conventions.

I also built myself a new blaster. It's more of a sidearm to the DL-44, it's this little Westar-esque piece, it's quite cool. I'll get some pictures of it once I finish the trigger guard.

That actually depends on the Convention. Blades are allowed at DragonCon as long as you keep them sheathed at all times.

    Very nice knife though!

I started painting my armor today. The primer has been sealed and I just finished putting down the first coat of chrome.

I'm starting to get the feeling that I will be making two sets of armor. I think this one is great, but there's a chance that it will look too small when finished. I'll have to get some pictures up of a test fit, and see what you guys think.

You can always space it out a bit if it seems to small. As long as its not so small that its so noticeable.
