Mando pricing

well it has its down sides it doesnt hold shape very well from what ive seen and its actually quite flimsy yet has weight to it think 1950's-1960's nuclear age kitchen floor tile its not ceramic stuff its the heavy weighted stuff

right about now for my first set of armor i guess that'll do nicely... i'm not going to have alot of armor... planning on making a recon mando so the wieght shouldn't be that bad................... its just..... I NEED ARMOR :love

Yea my friend sent me a link to that thread... i just don't get how to make a helmet out of a trashcan..... some on gave me a link to a thread about this math wiz people chating about triangles and angles and crap.... and i'm just staring there trying to understand it and i'm thinking to my self I"m in 7th Grade for god sakes also i'm not planning on making a jet pack so that should cut my expensise to only half a shiny penny

Haha, I'm a senior and I still don't understand a thing in that thread.

I'm not even sure how much I have in my Mando right now, but I'm sure it's past $150 by this point. It's really not the money that counts right now, it's just having a costume that I'm satisfied with.

Send me a PM with your ideas and I'll see what I can work up for you.

I'd recommend picking up a cheap set of sintra armour from fleabay. It'll be far better then floor tile armour, without a doubt!!! It'll also not set you back very much.

In my defense, linoleum fares quite well as armor. I'm actually planning on pruchasing a large roll and making multiple sets of armor for mass production.

Bah, who'm I kiddin'? GO with sintra, it will be 1,000x better.

technically it's not floor tile, it's more like flexible vinyl. The really good thing is that you can put it on your bathroom floor when you get tired of armor.

uhm...do not get the linoleum...sintra holds up alot better, and you can connect it to the vest better....and you can do battle damage to sintra...not much to bathroom tile

and it is floor tile dont lie

I saved up for 4 years worth of college and now that I am in the working world I have started my fett. Ive already spen about $1200 bucks but as others have said Im buy top quality parts, I am however planning to paint them myself. I know its tough to save and to wait for your mando, believe me I did it for 4 years. But its extremly worth it once you order your parts and they start coming in. Saving a few bucks every month will make it easier to make big purchases down the line.

Does anyone actually make customized armor tailored to each person and sell them? If they do i would like to see how much it would cost.

PS. i'm going with a light recon mando so i wouldn't have much armor so that should save me abit

I'm actually going to try to start making custom fit metal armor as a side busines, you can see my personal (and first) set here and here, just scroll to the bottom.
