    Mandalorian weapons

Im sure you guys get asked this question all the time but could anyone tell or show me what official mandalorian weapons look like. I dont have much luxury to read many books(cause I cant find em amywhere). From what I know they have a staff kinda thing, a wierd axe, and a few swords, but ive only heard this from others. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out. Also im really sorry if you've already answered this a million and one times, but ive tried searching for it and couldn't find anything. Like I said though ANY help is appreciated

I'm not sure there's a such thing as an "official" Mando weapon. I mean, most Mando's just use whatever they're comfortable with, or whatever suits the job best. As far as traditional weapons, there's the Bevii'ragir, which is a Traditional Manalorian hunting spear, with a removable counter balance on tail. There's a bes'kad, which is a sword or saber made from Beskar, the Mandalorian metal. A bes'kad'ika would be a dagger of the same material. There's also a heavy flute made of Bes'kar, but I don't remember what's it's called....anyway, it can be used as a heavy club.

Also, there is a mandalorian heavy repeater, and blaster. Also crush gaunts can be classified as weapons. Mostly they use whatever weapon they want though.

    Re: Mandalorian weapons

There's really only 3 weapons that are staples in Mando culture. Beskad which are swords, Besk'bev which is a flute that can be used as a club or spear, and the Mythosaur Ax used by the ancient Mandalorians. As far as guns go, we can only really say that the Verpin Shatter Riffle was used a lot (but not necessarily exclusively) by the Mandos since at least 40bby. Crushgaunts are also a "mando only" weapon, but were outlawed both by the republic and later by a Mand'alor looking to bring the mandos back into a more "moral" light.

Mandos use whatever they can get their hands on, even if they aren't proficient with it. There are no "Mandalorian" specific manufactures, and every race that's interwoven themselves into the Mando culture has brought some sort of weapons technology to the culture. So in a sense, any weapon could be a mandalorian used weapon.

Can you show a pic of the Bevii'ragir spear and the verpin shatter rifle. Im trying to make an authentic looking mando, and would like to use weapons they mainly used as props. (All made of plastic and wood of course) Also thank you all for the feedback.

    Re: Mandalorian weapons

The original starwars weapons were everyday weapons or found items (graflex and mpp flash tubes) that were modified slightly and usually repainted.
A probably good rule of thumb is to change your weapon 1/2 of its visual area, in Boba fett's case they added a stock and extended barrel plus scope to a flare gun. Han's handblaster was a modified pistol, where a scope, barrel and additional but smaller details were added.
