Mandalorian Mercs Custom Mandalorian Costume Club.

I had to add that to the post via edit. You don't have to have armor to post this if you have a character that you've already planned out. This is entirely imagination =D If you have your costume made then it's just an added bonus!

We are still hoping to get some art entries for our eastern and western Canadian regions as well as our mid west USA region. Seems like everyone is on the east and west coasts =D

It's a change to in a free Mercs shirt...and lets face it, who doesn't want a shirt with a Mando skull on it! =D

:love Midwest? Will look into. Must find longer pencils, though.

Edit: Gah, nvm. Your area definitions are different than the ones I know. :(

Yeah, some geographical locations were grouped differently due to population. As we grow, the current regions will split up into smaller regions. Have to start out with large areas before you can make them small.

Oh yes, we have grown quite a bit! I'm actually surprised at how well we have done. At first quite a few people were afraid we were trying to take away from the establishment, but that's never been the case. We work with the other organizations such as TDH to make the entire SW costuming community a fun place =D

I really appreciate the good words Mercke, and I look forward to seeing you at Mercs =D

I gotta know, how mad would all you guys be if I used a star trek inspired mando to join up? It won't be half-@$$ed or anything like that. I'm planning on quality vynil, faux leather, molded pieces, ect.

Typically, Star Trek and Star Wars don't make a very good combination. There's alot of people out there would actually be really pissed off if they saw something like that.

I would advise against it. :)

It would really really depend on how good that looked. There's not alot of SW and ST that go together. I'm not one to turn anyone away if it looks real good though, and believeable as a Mandalorian outfit. As Mercke said though, those two don't mix well IMHO, and alot of that is because the technology in ST is much more new and crisp then SW.

We just had our 29th costume member to join today. Thanks Blackjet! We are right at 30's door, so those of you who have been contemplating it...hop on over and join up! We are doing some great things and have quite a bit of stuff in store for the rest of 2007 and into 2008!

We have members all over the US, UK, and Canada with regions starting in Iceland and hopefully Australia before the end of 2007. We are growing, and we want you to come join the Mercs familiy with us. Be proud of that custom armor you wear!

Yeah, at least stop on by for a visit. If you've got your own character made up as well, log in to the wiki and post it up!

I'm not meaning to start a discussion on this, but SW and ST are on equal footing teachnology wise. ST is just more streamlined and uses a different/slower FTL drive. *end of discussion please, I don't want to start a fight here*

Besides, I have a perfect plan brewing. :cheers

Shall we get this thread back on track please?

And Toragh, I for one would like to see what you have planned for the crossover Mandalorian. The idea intrigues me.

We just received our 30th member lastnight. At this rate, we should have 50 before the end of the year...1/6 the size of the Jedi Assembly. We've been getting members since March, and have now had over 1 million hits to the Mercs site just in the month of July. I'd say we have alot of people interested =)
