The funny thing is... I'm a small built guy, but apparently the way I carry myself and my attitude make me intimidating. I've been told many times that I need to "lighten up" when speaking to other officers and to the enlisted people. It's not intentional... I just stand a certain way out of habit, I walk/talk certain ways out of habit and I behave a certain way out of habit. For example:

I habitually stand with my feet shoulder width apart, slightly angled away from the person/people I am talking to. I always stand relatively tall (posture wise) and I either fold my arms across my chest or put my hands on my hips because it is more comfortable that way. I also always look to each corner of the room when I walk through the door and sweep the room near to far (visually) every so often. I also look directly at anyone I am speaking to and speak loud enough to be heard. If someone is talking to me... I look directly at them and only disengage from time to time to scan the room. All of this is done out of habit and these habits are the ones that I have had people tell me are my "intimidating behaviors"

Yeah, I can't do them exact either. There faces are just the weirdest things to draw!

use the GIMP, it's so easy, just use layers and transparancy... check youtube for simple tutorials.

I still can't figure it out... I'm going to get me a digital tablet tho... maybe then I'll be able to do some good digital work.

you can look on youtube for GIMP tutorials, or even online, but seeing video tutorials always helps me, I'm an audio/visual learner.

yeah I'm a mechanical learner... I learn by doing. Trial and error are BIG words in my vocabulary! lol BTW, did I tell u guys I won the top scope award in my graduating class from tech school wednesday?

no prob... so I realized while working on that big composite of my concepts, how much my style has changed since I started drawing mandos

yeah I've noticed some definate improvement in yours too

if you draw 30 minutes a day, you will improve dramatically, remember when I used to draw my own comics (back in the 80's eeewww) I got better and quicker the more I drew.
