he he so I guess I'm going to look into a blue tinted lense for my tactical visor, I'll stick to the mirrored black for the primary visor tho. Also, just wondering if anybody knows how to rig up an LED set into the tactical visor to allow me to make it appear that the lense is glowing.

okay, so I finally went and picked up the spygear dart launcher to use for my tri-shot. It's slightly bulkier than I originally thought it'd be, may have to be modified a little bit to allow for my pred blades to be used as well, we'll see what I have to do as far as that goes. The thing also doesn't fire in a shotgun blast, it's 1 barrel at a time. However... in my "custom mando world" the concept is that the tri-shot will fire either in a semi-auto shotgun blast, spreading all 3 beams in a fan arc, or it will fire each barrel in sequence to give a high ROF full auto wrist blaster, depending on the mode selected by the shooter (i.e. ME!!!).
Is A'd'ika monitoring this thread? A'd'ika any updates on the buy'ce? I'm savin' up for it ner vod! lol I'll proally be buying some of the repros of it from ya too! lol

Okay vode, here ya go! I have here some images of my gaunts in their current state of horendousness, I sat the trishot on there so u could get an idea of where it will go. I also wanted u guys to see the laser on the trishot so I got a pic of that too. Also shown is my vest in its current state of disrepair just so u guys can see my plates as they are right now. Also, I laid out my grey BDUs that I got from my dad. Apparently when he joined the KSP like 30 years ago he was my size, and KSP wears (even back then) grey BDUs! I plan on using my grey ripstop fabric to make copies of these uniform items and upgrade the shirt to a combat shirt similar to the blackhawk model, and the pants will be a little more mandoish.

if u r talking about the lower lobe there, yeah I believe it is... I have to look into it because I plan on removing it as well. It appears to be nothing more than a grip for the shooter to use to hold the blaster... I couldn't find anything significant contained within.

yup... I have to look into any discounts I may get... NRA, military, USAA... I'm a member of a lot of organizations that give discounts at hotels, rental agencies, travel agencies etc...

hmmm... I dunno... round trip for me to go from Panama City, FL to Spokane, WA is $1600, hotel prices vary wildly depending on where u stay, what city it's in and what time of year it is, not to mention special events like CV

lol thanx saber! yeah I played with the trishot for awhile the day I got it, it really does have a lot of oomph behind it. I think it'll make a great piece for my gauntlet.

$5 is the exact cost of a new sketchpad at the BX at Tyndall... that's what I used that for. I'm trying to scrounge up enough to grab a new set of pens right now, hoping that maybe just maybe I can get a lot more work done very, very soon.
My mando is Kal Waco, leader of Direcat Squad. He's basically a team leader... he's a Lieutenant (wonder why...lol). Specializes in Air Support Coordination, CQB and is a expert marksman but has a preference for CQB, thus the heavier armor. He is also known for his use of aggressive tactics.

lol ok here's the story behind my name:
Kal is a mando'a word that is similar in sound to my REAL first name... which is Kyle. Kyle = Kal. Now I did look up the meaning for the word Kyle to attempt to match it up with a mando'a word that means equivalent, but I couldn't find a word for a straight and narrow path (Kyle in its original Irish roots) Kyle also means patient warrior (not sure which language but it's on my plaquard), so... I chose Kal because I like it and it's close to my real name (in sound).
Waco is my callsign, given to me by my squadron commander. Not real sure about the actual reasoning for the name, but I think it has something to do with the fact that I like guns, and there's a town in my home state called Waco, Kentucky (NOT to be confused with Waco, Texas) where I spent a great deal of my childhood with a very close family friend who owned a rather nice (homemade) firing range... where we could plink around all day long, all summer long. Also where I learned a few of my farming skills. So since Waco is one of my real names, and Waco, KY is a important part of who I am... it's now part of my mando name.
btw... some of my friends from work also call me "Whacko" lol

it has to be correctable (spelling?) to 20/20. My eyesight is 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other so, no problem there. I just didn't want to be a pilot, but I still wanted to fly so my job fits me perfectly (since I like to tell ppl what to do! lol). I get to wear a flightsuit and I get wings, so I'm happy...lol

Well that was definitely then and this is definitely now. In my Cadets eyesight isn't much of a problem, you gotta be able to see stuff moving out of the corner of your eye, but since we get mud in our eyes on a regular basis they don't really care.

So I was watching Tranformers 2 yesterday, and saw some very un-M4 looking M4s being used, so I googled it and found some images. Thinking about modding my rifle to look a little more like this. What do u guys think? Let me know which one you would go with. We'll call the first one the MVARS (M-Vars) and the second we'll call the TF Carbine. The extra 2 images are just shots of the TF carbine in the movie. Like I said let me know what you guys think about the 2 different ideas.

I basically took the MP5 Swordfish from Airsoftgi.com and added the M4 type 6 pos stock to it. Thought it looked pretty cool but never really took it any farther than that. May have to look into it again tho.

MP5 is one of the best guns EVER. I like your pics, a little less /earthy/ and more 'alienic'. My shotgun (MPtL, as I have pet-named it)
The idea of mounting side lights is good, I was gonna do the same with mine. I was gonna have 2 red-dot sights on the top and bottom and 3 flashlights on the sides.
