Kal's Custom Mando

when are you trying to get your stuff finished for.
Even though the term "finished" doesnt exist when building mandos... when do you plan to have it wearable?

lol yeah phase I is actually done minus the weapons and helmet. Phase II... the actual upgraded model (the final concept sketch) will hopefully be done in time for CV... I hope to be able to be there.

lol yeah... I'm a professional aviator and don't even know if I can fly to it...lol jk jk, I'm hoping to be able to get enough time off to take leave and go, that's my main issue... and affording a hotel room.

$5 is the exact cost of a new sketchpad at the BX at Tyndall... that's what I used that for. I'm trying to scrounge up enough to grab a new set of pens right now, hoping that maybe just maybe I can get a lot more work done very, very soon.

My mando is Kal Waco, leader of Direcat Squad. He's basically a team leader... he's a Lieutenant (wonder why...lol). Specializes in Air Support Coordination, CQB and is a expert marksman but has a preference for CQB, thus the heavier armor. He is also known for his use of aggressive tactics.

lol ok here's the story behind my name:

Kal is a mando'a word that is similar in sound to my REAL first name... which is Kyle. Kyle = Kal. Now I did look up the meaning for the word Kyle to attempt to match it up with a mando'a word that means equivalent, but I couldn't find a word for a straight and narrow path (Kyle in its original Irish roots) Kyle also means patient warrior (not sure which language but it's on my plaquard), so... I chose Kal because I like it and it's close to my real name (in sound).

Waco is my callsign, given to me by my squadron commander. Not real sure about the actual reasoning for the name, but I think it has something to do with the fact that I like guns, and there's a town in my home state called Waco, Kentucky (NOT to be confused with Waco, Texas) where I spent a great deal of my childhood with a very close family friend who owned a rather nice (homemade) firing range... where we could plink around all day long, all summer long. Also where I learned a few of my farming skills. So since Waco is one of my real names, and Waco, KY is a important part of who I am... it's now part of my mando name.

Sounds pretty awesome ^^ My 'callsign' in the Cadets was Flashbang, simply because I was usually first in, *bang* then out. Like a flash. :D

Though I chose Je'Karta Prudii because when I played Republic Commando people used to use Mando'a names, so i figured I want one too!

hope you dont ware glasses, you cant be a pilot if you need glasses, at least that was how it was when I was gonna join, but since I was told I could never be a pilot, I didn't join.
