Hello all you custom mando's out there,
To all of you needing help planning out your mando i salute you. :cheers Recently this week I noticed that i can draw sort of well(after i followed Kal's tutorial:rolleyes) but I have been drawing for a long time so again as greater men before me have said ill sketch and color up you mando for you. Im relly excited about this so please send some pics or tell me what you want and ill do the best I can.

nice work Jango, just a little advice from artist to artist, the way i got the basic down for helmets, draw a lot of close ups while having something to look off of. Helps get the basic down really well

Hey Jangy when you're done with Fi's would you do mine? I believe Kal has a reference picture, just do the white bits silver and add a cape and a syringe to the left arm, and a blood pack on the right leg.

I use Fibracolor Pro Series... they're $22 for a 100 count set at Michael's here in FL... hope they have 'em in Oklahoma cause I only have 1 and a half sets left... lol just bought a new set last friday.
I know theyre not here in Saskatchewan :(
yeah sorry Lev'ika I don't even know of any comparable brands either, mine are mid quality and low price range markers... they're better than crayola and a little more expensive, not nearly as nice as the Pro Mark or Artist Guild brands, but Fibracolor does fine for what I need, just wish I could get better at picking colors and backgrounds.

hey bro, looks great :D gonna give you a tip about drawing weathered clotheing
When i do it i just let my hand go free. Just let your hand draw the rips freely if that makes sense. Maybe its just something im able to do but its worth giving it a try
tip #2: try ripping an old shirt, and see the different patterns on it - remember, not every slice will be neat
most tears won't be as big, and really try to limit the number of tears... remember sometimes less is more. Only thing I really see that you need to think about is the arms and legs... it's more a stylistic thing tho so... I think in your style it works great as is, but... just something to think about, for anime/fusion style comic art... the arms from wrist to elbow is the same length as from elbow to shoulder. The arms should be the same length as the legs (for proportionality's sake). The legs are the exact same length as the distance from the top of the head to the bottom of the groin. The leg measurement should start at the hip and does not include the boots, but does include the feet... I suggest drawing the figure first, then adding clothing/armor/weapons/boots/buy'ce OVER your figure... all in pencil BEFORE inking anything. Once that's done just erase the pencil lines and go forth with your colors and viola! A masterpiece... like I said tho with the proportions it's all stylistic, I like the style u're using... it's actually quite interesting

Ori’ramikad Veshkov was born and raised into the Mandalorian ways on Mandalore. His father, one of Jaster Mereel’s lieutenants, taught the young Ori’ramikad about fighting and by age 12, he was well-practised in hand-to-hand combat, long range scoped warfare and short range fighting. Despite all his skill, he couldn’t defend his parents from Jedi marauders; they were slaughtered when he was just 13.
As the Mandalorian Civil War broke out, Veshkov joined the True Mandalorians, fighting alongside Jango Fett and Jaster Mereel themselves. Veshkov served with the Mandalorians right until the battle of Galidraan, where he escaped the destruction of the Mandalorians by diving down a foxhole. He then began a life as a mercenary, working with the Galactic Empire, Alliance to Restore the Republic and even the Black Sun.
After the end of the Galactic Civil War, Veshkov fought with the New Republic to defeat the Yhuzaan Vong. He scored over 400 kills in the war, acquiring countless Vongese pelts. He eventually teamed up with Galaak Vhi’tor and Kal Waco and managed to, as a squad, rack up over 6,000 kills. During the war, he was captured after being separated from Kal and Galaak. He was placed in a cell deep under the Vongese headquarters. He fought his way out, despite being stripped of all weapons and armour.
After the war, Veshkov retired and went back to Mandalore, but not after finding and slaughtering the Jedi who killed his parents. He was buried in full armour and had the dug double depth to keep his weapons with him.

not bad jango, only thing i would say is work on the arms, they don't curve, at the elbow, they angle. Remember that the upper and forearm are two seperate straight lines. keep practicing because I see improvement each time.

EDIT, Jango You can do a group shot of all the customs in a leisure stance with our Blasters at our side and one with me and prudii looking Downward as if looking at a mandalorian who is down

nice.. you should really get yourself a sketch pad tho, can tell its on the back of armor templates ;) just havin fun with ya. But seriously, a sketch pad really comes in handy

he he actually... lol believe it or not, partial inspiration was buzz lightyear's flightpack! lmao It's more based on the Clone Jet Pack used by the Airborne clones of the 212th. I added the retractable pannels so that when it's folded it doesn't drag the ground or get in the way of rapid movement/sitting on benches in dropships (i.e. getting in the way during trooping). The outer wing retracts into the inner wing, the inner wing folds into the body of the jetpack. The jetpack is a hybrid of the Clone Jet Pack, Buzz's jet pack and a jetpack I saw in the Flashpoint issue of the KOTOR comics.Quote:

hey Zuka if u're ever interested in knowing what we believe and why... let me know, I'll give u all the verses in the Bible u need to know what the Christian faith is based on... it's called the Roman Road.
BTW... I AM NOT TRYING TO INDOCTRINATE ANYONE! I just want to offer the option, ppl should be able to make their own choices, but they should always be informed choices (IMO). I also want to give u an idea of how it works for us.

I was an Avid christian Before i hit age 13 then I thought "Why is there murder and poverty if there is a god that watches over us and cares for us" and then that dug into my christian roots and uprooted the Tree that is Christianity.
In comparison of the Old and New Testaments I was preferential of the old testament.
The sky that was Above Israel during Jesus' birth, is actually the sky that is above Lunenburg during Christmas, so there is food for thought
