Jango helmet smaller?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had see/got a rubies jango fett helmet? I heard that they are smaller than DP 97 helmets but I need to be sure before I get one. My Boba helmet is a DP and is way too big for me. Anyone got dimensions??:confused:rolleyes

Thank you

I'm wearing my Rubies Jango helmet now....I'm 5'9, at 175 lbs, have a regular sized head I'd imagine cause there's nothing weird about it like huge nose, overbite or big ears & the helmet feels roomy enough to stick a computer fan in it. I mash the helmet to the front of my face & the cheek parts touch my cheeks but my nose doesn't press on the visor...I'm debating whether I should get a thin layer of padding for the top of the helmet cause without it my eyes are completely level with the eye holes...I can stick both of my hands up in the helmet over my ears without flexing the helmet out any further.

Unfortunately the Rubies Jango is the only Mando helmet I've ever had on so I can't compare it to other makes, y'know what I mean? I look at myself in the mirror wearing the helmet & nothing else, the helmet seems huge to me but it look normal sized when I put on my armored up vest so I can't imagine what it would feel/look like to have a helmet that's bigger than this adult-size Rubies.

Our Comms officer uses a Rubies (BIgJon here on TDH) and even though it looks a little small for his body size, it seems to fit him well. He's also got a couple comp fans in it...so there must be room. If your a small body size, then a Rubies or DP should be enough...however remember that there is a temperature limitation on the Rubies. Thats it's biggest downfall.

Like they said, Rubies or DP is about as small as you can get. Technically Boba's helmet was slightly bigger and not form fitting to his head.

The Rubies or DP can be widened out a bit to remove the "narrow head" look that they normally have. And as to the temperature limitation...just keep it stored in a cool dry place (indoors, in a basement) and keep it covered when transporting it on long, hot car rides and you should be fine.

And we're really only talking 100+ degree heat and direct sunlight.

I wore my Rubies to AdventureCon in Tennessee...standing outside for a few hours. I didn't run into any warping issues at all. I've heard of some folks, however, who left theirs in their car or trunk for a couple of hours and found them to be warped.

I sing my helmet lullabies and tuck it into bed with me every night...this thing isn't going to ever get subjected to heat trauma treatment if I have any say in it. :D
