im not the smartest

ok i am not the smartest person..... i went to walmart last night and picked up a bondo fiberglass repair kit....did i get the right thing, there was a can of bondo jelly and something else. and if so how would i use it to fill in the dent on my helmet and reinforce my knees?

I'd recommend using the Bondo Jelly. It forms shapes well as well hardens fast and strong. Fill your dent in, sand it down, then you'll probably need to make one more skim coat to fill in any pin holes as well feather in the new rounded shape.
