I caught the bug

My husband is currently doing an ESB Boba, and a custom mando, so it figures that with those projects, that the "Mandalorian Fever" was sure to break out in my house. It did, and so what's a girl to do with herself then, you may ask? Why join TDH, and start doing stuff like this:

Well, this did not happen overnight..... It took me about 5 years of kicking and screaming (well, actually ignoring his overtly pleading ideas..) in order to get this far.

I fell in love with the "Mandalorian Wedding" pic and wanted to be HER....she is so cool. Then I decided that I really, didn't want yellow, so I made it green. What prompted that decision was 3 different stores and 2 hours staring at the spray can colors and not finding ANYTHING in yellow that I liked. I also was adamant that it have a ponytail. with beads. and girlie things. oh yeah, and I'm trying to get the fem fett armor. I wanna be a girly-girl with a RBFG... (he's created a monster.... and he doesnt even know it!!)

Yes, all I have to do is find a helmet that won't break the bank. I do love that ponytail though.... It makes it all girlie and stuff..

Thank you guys so much for the kind words and the encouragement. I'm progressing nicely, I've gotten my helmet (a dp 95 that my hubby says I'm doing "terrible" things to...). My knees and gauntlets are in various stages of painting, and all my soft pieces are done. I'm waiting for the rest of my armor to come in, and then I'll have pictures.
