Hey Everyone!!!!!

Hey everyone! :3 i've been lurking on TDH for the past few months and slowly been putting together my own beskar'gam. My armor currently has the male chest plates...fear not I'm up-grading to female armor as you read this.

I wore my armor to Anime Boston this year, I was shocked to find many Star Wars characters there. My cyar'ika made Neo-crusader armor (blue), tho its not completed yet. The other in the photo is our friend (black). I'm the tiny one in the front (yellow).

well i'm making female chest plates, and the fabric I used isn't strong enough to hold the armor up anymore.

That and i want everything to be perfect for the Mercs.

Hey just thought I'd post more pictures from Anime Boston 2009.

Our group had a bunch of different characters.

Star Wars - Three Mandos
Han and Leia

Gears of War - Coal Train
Dizzy (whos not in any photos)

and our little Sakura at the left side....who was the only anime character! Coal Train and i were protecting her all weekend.

Degan I know girls who are 5 ft or shorter and they're on active duty in the Air Force, 5ft ain't too short for a girl. Congrats on getting into the mercs! hopefully Fi's armor will turn out as nice as yours did.

So I had a photoshoot with a fellow mando, hes not in the mercs YET. but we did take his app photos yesterday. so soon enough.

Now we went to a local park in the area, not many people where there. We did run into a family with four children with them. Three little girls and one boy. the boy was running after us....calling us "power Rangers". He was wearing a Snake Eyes mask and had the sword.

The parents seemed really freaked out seeing us in costume. When I explain that we were charas, from Star Wars. I got no response, the kids were really nice! I asked the parents if it was okay to take a photo with them. I got a short and quick 'sure'.

So I ended up playin around with some more photos.

I've been looking at all the photos and videos from Dragon Con and I'm dead set on going next year! No matter what!

Very soon I'm gonna change the ab plate and get some gauntlets. Maybe even work on a 2nd kit.

Some shots of our 'base camp' for a haunted trail we volunteered for. Its for an Animal Sanctuary in Norton, MA.

Nothing to fancy some banners, fake blood, and a wookie tied to a tree. :3 oh and the dead Jedi everywhere. Scaring people with swords and axes is fun! and for a good cause!

To make you feel better, I think Dralshy'a (my girlfriend) is the smallest adult Mando - she's 4-11...barely

So i finally got my new gauntlets in the mail!!! finall! though i'm not to happy with them. Plus I ordered these dec 1st and just them yesterday. when i sent the seller on ebay a message, mind you i waited 3 weeks before i e-mailed him. He was quick to response and he told me that the company he purchses the plastic from went on christmas vaction earlier then he thought and he was out of plastic, he then stated that he was upgrade my orginal order to the guantlets with the larger rocket. Which was great for me, I was excited. But the issue i messaged him back was about the sizes. My orginal order was youth size with a small rocket, and his ebay page said that the gauntlets with the larger rocket did not come in youth size. I didn't want to pay all that money for something that doesn't fit me. There would be no point. He sent me a PM and told me not the worry. Okay.
When i got the package in the mail, it was christmas morning again! And here are some photos for you guys to see




I'm also got new gloves, no more fingerless gloves. hahaha now the Jedi can't get my finger prints..... I have arm wrapping to cover that black string on the bottom of the gloves


I did enjoy re doing everything. I still need to repaint them but thats not hard. I guess i was expecting much more from this ebay seller b/c all he sells is mando stuff. He also could have been rushing to get this done b/c it was so late. I should be used to things not fitting me but i did ask for youth size. What do you guys think?

You'll need to bondo a few of those damage marks and see what you can do about straightening the rocket too, it looks a bit bent.

I hope you didn't spend too much on them.

Wow its been to long since I was on the TDH. I miss this fourm! I'll be lurking around more I'm starting my boyfriend's Rotj Boba Fett. Well...its more for me than him. lol I love .

I do have some updates on my kit tho. I've been collecting photo since I first started out way back when in .. i think the end of 2007. Wow thats a long time.
