No rush vod'ika... just curious to see how it turns out.

I finished quite a bit on my armout today; thightening my chicago screws, fixing snaps, re-strapping my thigh plates &c. I still need to get my kama fixed, along with my bicep plate and some other odds and ends. Will be working on those later tonight. Hopefully will have pics for ya'll by the end of the week.

thats awesome! btw is there such thing as Kama templates? because i picked up awesome material for it (its a leather with a scale like texture on it)

I wish there was a kama template... No, up to this point, what I've done is newspaper mock-ups and then used those as a pattern. takes some time, but it works!

that would be brutal...that thing took FOREVER to build. The theory is simple though...cardboard layers that were dremeled into the correct shape, then resined, then a coat of rondo, then lots of sanding, then attaching all the different "layers" of it together. easy. lol. it's your first one...I've done a lot more... if you keep at it, you'll be able to throw out a helmet in like 8 hours... (that is actual fact...I timed the different points of a build for a helmet, totalled em up and it was just under 8 hours...of course, that is IF I can stay focussed for eight hours...more like eight seconds...)

True... but with christmas as a deadline i wish i could finish sooner and im really worried about the painting part
