Here we go again...

:lol:lol::lol:

Those are very good and persuasive reasons "do it for Adonian, whose eyes are willing you on and right arm bringing that laser whip down on you, do it for sabermaker, before he sets his wife on you. Do it for little Can'ika, who says she'll kick you in the shebs repeatedly until it's done. If not for them, do it for me, because I know where you live!" especially those...I need to work faster...

How's about the fact that Kal wants this done before his buy'ce, and I want my buy'ce! lol

BTW... I can come up with a nonchalant threat of cartoonish and/or demoralizing physical violence if you like... lol

Speaking of that Kal...I have some interesting new discoveries for the 405th that are gonna help a lot with that helmet...

I was going to do a tutorial today on attaching armour, but I'm out of time, so that will have to wait till tommorow...

Also, I have my bicep plates finished, my greaves almost finished, my shoulder bells attached to the flak vest, and my center diamond was discovered and finished.

I owe you all pictures...

lol actually... just found the 405th Website... their forums are not bad at all! Ya know my alternate armor (SAS armor) is based heavily on the ODST trooper, a lot of the reference pictures I have came from there (although I didn't know it at the time). Even my armor I am building now has some ODST and Spartan Influences.

oh ok. What would rondo be used for? would it have been better than bondoglass? I just spent all night watching Clone Wars episodes and the premiere for Season 2 :D

Lol...the plus of rondo is that it is more liquid than bondo, making it pourable...:) it's good stuff...

Also, I will be double posting here...so oops...;)

Alright, here is my tutorial for using line 20 snaps to attach plates to a flak vest.

1. attach one end of the snaps to the plates using some form of adhesive (JB weld is what I use)

2. Put a bit of brightly coloured paint on the tips of each snap

3. Press the plate into position on the flak vest, making sure each snap presses against the vest.

Once you pull the plate off, it should look like this:

4. Punch holes in the flak vest in the center of the red dots:

5. Get a piece of scrap leather and cut it into 2-3cm squares; punch holes in the center of each:

6. Set the other end of the snap into the vest, backing them with the leather squares:

Once finished, it should look like this:

7. Snap the plate on and go troop!!!

P.S.- any questions, concerns, comments, additions, post em here or shoot me a PM. :)

armor can make armor with it. take your trash can armor and pour it on top should make it thicker. or you can make molds of your armor and pour it in that should work.
