    Hi dha'kad junn.

Sintra you need to search for foamboard, I know of a supplier that has depots across the country, you could start with them, Amari Plastics, but you may need a trade account, if so they may put you in touch with a supplier. Otherwise contact sing makers and ask for foam board, 3 of 5mm.

Visor you can use Bobamaker or buy a green visor for welding (which is the way I went).

Boots, what did you have in mind?

Tackle twill,I will dig out the link, but it is state side, you may want to opt for a cotton twill/drill which is more commonly available over here, try a search on eBay.

    Re: Help needed

I have an old SFP Jango girth belt if that is onf any use?

    PM if interested.

Boots .... mate, I searched UK boots manufacturers for days and only came up with 1 boot (Magnum assault boot) that was semi-usefull, available from most militaria dealers in the UK.

Best best is searching for the Reinone boot signup thread on here.

As OJMT has already stated, your best and easiest bet for sintra here in the UK is Sign-Writers, over hear it's known as Foamex, Foamed PVC and foamboard but not sintra (unless you happen to go to a Sign-writers that has been on these boards and knows the American brand name!) You'll want 5mm for the armour and 3mm for raised details (if you are doing Jango style leg armour). Shouldn't cost you that much, especially as we can use old pieces of sintra that have lettering on them (dead easy to remove using hot water or a heat gun). I suggest ringing around local sign-writers first as some of them will have to order it in, others will have it in stock. What ever you do DO NOT get corrigated plastic card (the stuff they tend to make For Sale signs out of here), I've had one or two people offer it to me in the past, it's no good for armour at all.

For boots it really depends upon the style and look you are after. For Jango style boots SpaceScopie is right, you'll have a hard time of it and MAY end up having to order from the States to get the best boot. I wear a heavy duty walking boot with my armour, with armoured spats over the laces and added toe spikes. As you are not talking about doing Boba or Jango, you have a few more options available to you but just remember IF you go for a boot with laces, cover said laces over.

For visors Bobamaker is great, you can't go wrong there. What make is your helmet?

The same (sort of) advice for vests. Unless you are making a Boba vest you don't NEED tackle twill or cotton twill, and you don't NEED leather unless you are making a Jango vest. The basic requirement is a material that doesn't move or sag when you've finished making it - meaning no droopy armour syndrome. That said making a vest using leather or tackle twill will work. I'm just saying you have other material options out there.

This is my Custom Mando Boot

It is now sadly out of production, but I quite like the look of them and when weathered (even more) will look pretty good. They are my old pair of Adidas Badlander (high). Maybe that helps?

    Re: Help needed

    Another few questions;
where does everyone in the UK get thier gloves for thier costume?
and does anyone know what the best material for kama's and cloak's is?

    Re: Help needed

For kama's and cloaks you want to use a heavy duty material. Kama's should be leather or leatherette, perhaps heavy weight cotton as it's leg armour of sorts, it's supposed to protect the rear of your legs. For cloaks you need to ensure it's of a suitable heavy weight material as you don't want it to flutter too wildly but still have movement. Boba's half cape is a heavy cotton material perhaps something similar would work for you. Birmingham's rag market would be a great place for you to look, I think there's a material barn too, lots of useful bits of cloth in there.
For gloves I actually wear Stormtrooper gloves as the longer material goes under the sleeve of my flightsuit and stops any flesh being seen between the glove and the gauntlet.

    Re: Help needed

Orthar is pretty much right on the money with all that. I actually just bought some nice heavy black cotton material for my new full cloak today. Definitely want to stick with heavy fabrics. I use stormy gloves also, and they feel good. They aren't as durable as I'd have liked them to be though since we mando's are rough and tumble.
