A Helmet For A Marine

This idea is an awesome tribute to all that have served in the service for this great country and am proud to see this take form. God bless our military for all they do.

ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN FANTASTIC. I am a Marine CWO myself and if I would have thought of this before I would have gone this route rather than my clone armor that I am fully invested in at this point. I'll offer this up. If you do a blues scheme do not weather it at all. We pride ourselves on our blues looking pristine. If you decide to go back to the earthtone scheme weather away. Your concept art is great and with the silver armor plates that bobamaker suggested that would be an insanely sweet set up. Tell your friend Semper Fi and thank you for doing this for him.

Wow. The designs so far are amazing. I thought I'd throw mine up and see if it might help.

I'd go with a two piece flight suit. Dark blue pants and a black shirt, with a dark blue vest. After all, even though it's Marine based, we still want to know it's a Mando, and too much black just kinda makes everything run together.

Highly shined black armor with red trim. Red shoulder bells with gold rank chevrons and gold trim.

Gold button attatchment points, and buttons down the center diamond and loincloth.

Short cape, kama, and loincloth to evoke the feeling of the tunic length jacket, all black with red trim.

Blue gauntlets, to set them apart from the sleeves, with white gloves.

Black highly shined boots.

I put up two pics. First one is the original .bmp, so you can see the real colors, because the .jpg file tends to dull it down and it looses some definition.
