Jodo Kast GMH Jodo for Jodokast89

Well-Known Hunter
Alright So Jodokast89 came to me with a very fun and not your everyday Fett paint up like I am used to doing. In fact he came to me with the opportunity to do something new and different and I thank him for that!!!! What was headed my way was a GMH with the dent filled in!!! I know some may say why do that but then I say why not!! This lid was shipped to me from FettPride with just the dent filled in all of the other GMH details were left in. After discussing some things with Jodokast89 we came to a consensus to leave in some of the GMH details while filling in some others. For his Jodo he wanted it to based off the Twin Engines of Destruction comic, so with that I have been working with those images to try and replicate some of the damage seen as well as add in some of my own. Below are a couple of pictures of where it started and where I am now. I will be working on this some more this week and hope to have the mandibles and trim wrapped up by the weekend. I also Hope to have some better pics up by then too.

Woohoo! Thanks for posting man! This helmet has already blown my mind, and I can't want to see the end result! Just in case anyone's upset over this, don't worry, I've got a Boba in the works as well! ;)

Alright been busy working on this lid and a few other over the past week and made some good head way on this one. Mandibles, trim, dome and upper and lower cheeks are all complete. I need to go back and touch up a few spots as well as adding some additional fine scratches to it. I will also be working on the kill stripes and the ears this week. Then come this weekend or some time during the week if get home before it gets dark I will take some better pics.

These were taken after I did the mandibles and trim.

These were taken this morning in the house with just the kitchen light both with and without flash. At this point the dome and upper and lower cheeks are done.

Looks great! I like the orange. Please share the paint color choices you make along the way (even if custom mixed). Folks will want to know.

Thanks Rich I will post up the colors at the end.

Got some more work done and took some better pics out in the light. I got the upper cheeks done as well as some work on the ears in this next set of pics.

Then I also was able to get the kill stripes added as well. I still have more wok to do in this area by adding some topical damage to the kill stripe area as well as the left ear and go through the process of weathering the right ear and the rest of the lid. Pics below are with the kill stripes added and a temp visor in place just for the affect.

Alright just about done with this bad boy once I get final approval from the owner I will throw on the black wash and start cleat coating it. The last thing that I have to do when the part arrives is mount the MQ-1 board in the key slot section. Any way onto the pics let me know what you guys think.
