FretBurn concept

FretBurn

New Hunter
My first post, heh.
After lurking around these boards for a month of so i finally got up the guts to post my Mando concept for everyone to see. After several hours in photoshop and messing around with the game Jedi Knight:Jedi Academy, i was able to get down my concept in the way i imagine it in my head.

The only problem that i have is getting it from virtual reality into the real world. Any suggestions on where to start?

A FELLOW JEDI ACADEMY PLAYER! AND I PLAY ON HIS CLAN'S CLAN SERVER! THE PURPLE CLAN!

lol, anywho...

Message me if you wanna play ;)

I suggest starting with the armor and jumpsuit, they are probably the easiest to find supplies for. Helmets are a pain if you don't have a good hobby store and can't buy online =/

I play JA too, I played Forcemod and MB for a while too.

Most people start with the helmet, it's something solid that shows your progress and can inspire you to make/buy the rest of the costume to go with it. There are templates for the armour if you fancy making it yourself or reputable people to buy from if you don't.
Is that a Sandtrooper style pauldron in the picture? Good luck with it and take your time, don't rush it as that's when things go wrong.

Othar pretty much summed it up =D

When I first say the pic loading my first impression was that it was another SWG mando. Very nice job on that game armor!

The pauldron was my idea to try to show both a rank and a trophy. I was wondering how i was going to show rank without adding any color, but then i read somewhere that clones customized their armor with trophies and bits taken from their kills. I figured that it would look good, and be unique at the same time.
