First armor designs

Peep Williams

New Hunter
I've ALWAYS wanted to make a star wars costume and a mandalorian would be the coolest thing ever! so i decided i wanted to start my own set. i plan on using the trash can method to make the armor, which is a unique spin-off of neo-crusader-esque abdomen armor and the more common fett style abdomen armor combined. i kind of like my design and i don't think it will be too hard to cut out. anyways. here is my design pictures.
Criticism? Comments? Ideas? I'm open for anything.

Alright ive been working all morning on the stencil pieces for the armor segments. I think i've got them almost right. I think i'm going to take off a little length on the lower abdomen.
Here's my mockup so far.

oh and the picture makes everything look longer than they actually are. the chest pieces don't really look that long in person.

I have actually shortened and widened the chest pieces a bit instead of the abdomen piece and i am happy with my final result. Anyone have any suggestions or warnings on frequent noobie mistakes they can warn me about?

I ended up getting some home improvement buckets from lowes at a cheap price. i've got all the patterns for the armor segments that i created drawn out onto the bucket.

I like the concept... thinking about doing some modifications to my own chest plates to something kinda similar.

Very snazzy, Peep'ika. Wow, that sounded wrong. Heh.

I dig the design. Very cool. What's your color scheme? The green and cream in your concept?
