Here you can see some pics of my progress... Almost ready for painting... I used the templates from WOF, then cardboard and fiberglassed everything... Then body filler... I have a green Flightsuit... The ears are going to be customs and the gaunlets too... More pictures soon... Stay tunned...

Thanks for the good words... More progress... Pictures of the gloves, the ammo belt (with 9 mm cartridges pouches!!! that I found in an army surplus), the flighsuit, and the armor and helmet with the silver primer... More pictures and more progress soon... Stay tunned...
New pics!!! First is the helmet with the T-visor zone painted and ready for in the process of masking, then the helmet masked and paint and some pics of the armor painted... Next step: battle damage paint job...

Is that a remote on the side of the helmet?
The silver paint its Krylon Aluminum. The right ear its part of the circuit board of an old Ericsson ET 237 cell phone and the left ear its part of the charger for the same phone and part of the numeric board of an old Nokia 2110 cell phone...
The Helmet is Ready!!!! Two Pictures... You can notice the mirror T-Visor... In the second picture you will notice the battle damage paint job... Now it's time for the battle damage for the armor...

what did you use for the visor? I attempted to use plexi but it cracked
The visor its made from the replacement of a hard hat safety faceshield. That kind of faceshield its made of polycarbonate. It can be cut with scissors. The only kind I found was transparent but they are made in polarized polycarbonte. I used two layers of a silver polarized film. This kind of film has one sticky surface that helps when you attaching the film to the visor.

The Vest it's almost ready. The only thing left it's the shoulders of the Vest, and the velcro for the Armor. Here are some pics of my custom and how it looks right now. In the last pic I look like Obi-Wan in Mando Armor...

More updates!!! The Cod Piece it's ready. The Back Armor it's ready for weathering. I attached the velcro to the Vest and the Front Armor plates...

More updates... The Vest with velcro (I need to put more). And the first pic with the armor plates attached!!!! Sorry for the bad cell phone photos. I need to make a few adjustments in the Vest and the Plates position, add the Shoulders and the Leg Armor it's almost ready. Just a few things to get ready for a Convention thats going to take place in less than 10 days!!!!:D

Yes a made the Vest... Almost... I made the desing and left all the cutting and the sewing to my mother and my grandmother... I tried to make a Vest that resembles the one from Jango and Boba, and I'd spent 40 pesos (aprox 12 dollars) in the leather/fabric. Gracias Boba Leo. Por cierto, voy a tratar de tenerlo listo para Animate '08. Asi que si vas quizas me veas.

After many months of hard work my custom mando it's ready!!! I still need to work in the attachment of the backplate armor (I didn't used yet, the back it's covered by the cape) and the attachment for the codpiece. I'm going to make a new set of gaunlets and knee armor (more accurate ones, using the plans from WOF and Skip), attach the armor with the screws (right now it has velcro) and maybe (in a near future) I will be adding a jet pack... For now, this is how it looks... In the pics you will see 2 leg armor configurations. The first it's the basic Jango armor without the knee armor... The second one it's similar, but it had a SWAT like knee armor and a more light shin armor... In one of the pics I'm entering the TDH forum, in armor, hehehe... In other pics I'm drinking mate (a popular infusion similar to the tea, here in Argentina) and in the last ones I'm becoming the Spider-Mando... hehehehe... Enjoy!!!

Yes... I now about the neck seal... I must search the army surplus store and try to find something... I bought a sky mask that is olive green and it goes perfect with the flightsuit... But it's very hot for this days (we' re in middle of the summer in Argentina) :D...
New pics of the helmet and armor... Since I'm an Official Member of the Mandalorian Mercs I painted the Jaig Eyes on the helmet... I added the Mythosaur Skull to the chest and the Mercs Skull to the Right shoulder... Enjoy them...

A few upgrades for my gauntlets... Since they were based on a shin protections, I thought they needed a few upgrades. I bought two toy disc launchers - Pic.1 - (that looks like Jango's gauntlets but I can't find them on the web) and using parts of them, old cell phones and a mouse I made these... Pic 2 to 6 - Left Gauntlet - Pic 7 to 11 - Right Gauntlet... Weathered pics will come later... Enjoy...
I love the mirrored visor! Definently is meaner than a standard tinted one.
Thanks for the coments... My original idea was using a normal visor, but when I saw the mirrored film I couldn't resist... And now to the pics of the gauntlets with battle damage... Some are a little out of focus... Sorry.. ;)
