Female Mandalorian Armor Helmet?

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are going to start putting together a custom mando for her and I wanted to get people's opinions. She is 5'5" skinny and I am concerned a BKBT bucket might look way too oversized. Do you think the FP CC Helmet would work out better size wise?

We also plan to pick up most of the body armor from BradleyFett, which i believe is ABS, which will also make it easy to trim down. Her Mando is really going to resemble Jango but with a different color scheme, probably a play on pinks

So any ideas on the helmet for a fem-mando without resorting to store bought gear?

is there a maker still around to purchase form or do they just pop up in the hold every now and then? how is it size wise compared to a BKBT?

My wife and kids all have Rubies Jango helmets that have been reenforced with T-visor.com visors and craft rings. Once painted up they are a nice inexpensive bucket that fit their smaller heads pretty well.

Sgt Fang is who you want, or Marrow Sun(not sure if he is making them right now). Another option would be a DP95 or DP96. They are a little smaller than the Mystery helmets and pretty cheap on ebay. They don't look bad either. I would just avoid a DP97, they just lack the right shape.

actually... 5'5" and skinny... the bradleyfett helmet might be a good choice.

i'm 5'9" and average build, and the bradleyfett helmet was too small:

plus it's undented.

The question is, how much hair does she have? I have a smaller head than my husband, and I'm shorter by over 6 inches, but with all my hair, I wear the same size helmet as my husband, who is a tall bald guy. 8)

A good way to check wha tsize helmet she'd need in comarison to you is to go to a sporting goods store and both of you try on various types of safety helmets. You'll have your answer really fast (plus it's a good way to figure out what sort of padding system she likes best).:D

the jango helmet is your best bet, unless you have areally skinny head, than youll ahve to cut 2 inches out of the jango helmet. there are a few of these around. let me nkwo if you need one.

Thats actually the first picture of a Bradleyfett helmet that i have ever seen. It looks pretty good, and since we are probably going to be getting almost everything from him i can save on shipping ;) + the fact that it is small. Do you mind if I ask how sturdy it is/would be for wearing? From what I understand it is made in ABS and comes unassembled.

but those st.fang helmets are pretty sweet! (y)

thanks!

I was actually tinkering around with the idea of using fem-stormtrooper chest armor for this custom fem-mando. Anyone know who is still making these?

wow thanks a lot. that looks really good.

I also got in touch with Ritchies Armor who makes both fem-trooper armor, fem-tie armor, fem-imp officer, and fem mando if anyone else is interested. I've always heard really good things about their work and customer service.

There's this wonderful thing called Google... :p I don't think the URL will come as much of a shock, either. ;) He's been around forever.
