Feldon's Custom Mando'ade

Feldon Nassus

New Hunter
Hey there- I'm relatively new here, and I'm just now gathering funds for my personal set of armor. Though it will be a bit till I actually get to this part, I'm having trouble deciding what to do as far as a paint scheme is concerned. Origionally, it was going to be all black and red. However, that is not as unique as I'd hoped it would be, so I'm experimenting with different color choices. Seen in this picture below are two color schemes- but if you have ideas or suggestions let me know. Also- there are two sample pouches I plan on using for my ammo belt.

i do like the blue one, but then I do have a thing for the green.....I think the blue goes best with the jumpsuit...but the green with everything else goes best!
Are those my PSP fetts? If they are glad they are being used!!!:cheers

heh- yup. I remember finding that in a random post and just going to town. Great job! though I think the dark side on the helmet should go- its hard to get the design I want there to be seen. I'm thinking that instead of red shoulder bells, that they should be blue.

Ok, so I have about $400 to spend on this project- with more cash coming in time. So I've decided to attack this little endeavor in phases.

Phase I:

Armor from Richies Armor - $195
Helmet from Sgt Fang- $95
Visor- ~ $4
Boots from CA boots- $90
Rangefinder from bigkidbiggertoys- $25

Totalling to about $410

Phase II:

Cloth for cape, vest, and spats- undetermined (need to shop for fabric)
Ammo belt
x2-5 pouches- $14 to $35
Belt- undetermined (need to see connection type on pouches)
Gauntlet from Richies armor- $100

So I already have a flight suit, the list of components of this costume comes out like this-
("-" = buy "*"=make)
Flightsuit
*vest
-Armor
-Helmet
*Cape
-Gauntlets
-Ammo Belt
-Boots
*Spats

Am I forgetting anything besides a blaster?

I'm planning on rigging my own- I'm fairly talented with electronics- and my dad is a master. Most likely- I'm going to be rigging switches on the gauntlet that control fans and such, hiding cables in a small tube running into the armor and up into the helmet- disguised as the flame projector fuel line.

Some things that just came to mind- how many people here use a voice amp, and which one tends to be the best for the amount of money. I'm thinking about the one linked off of TK409 that runs for $50.
