Eth'an Fenrir - swspiffy's custom mando

I couldn't figure out how to switch my old thread's title... so I made a new one.

Here is my custom mando, whom I've named Eth'an Fenrir. I've posted a bunch of pics, some that are at my friend's place, some that are at sdcc (and some without my boots cause I forgot them).

I thought prisoners don't smile; espically when they are looking down the barrel of a blaster pistol. All in all I am liking the colors you have vod. Great job on the armore aside from forgetting the boots LOL!

Outstanding armor, by the way. I think everybody should go sans boots. Cause who needs boots? Not Mandos, that's who.

Great looking kit! I believe we met at the Mercs table, and you may have helped with the Slave Leia escort?

yup, that was me, good meeting ya! I'm gonna try to get some pics up an mando mercs eventually... like good profile type pics, but its gonna be a lotta school work first...

It seems to me like atleast 3 people out of 10 want to use red and black for their custom mando...
I'm one of those 3, btw :D.

Ummmm...I probably missed it in your earlier statements, but what material did you use for the armor? What kind of helmet?
What gun didja modify?

to adonian: It actually was just a sw.com pass by shot. They said they wanted it for one of those quick fly by shots to then end with me... look there I'd think. I got interviewed though by EA, A&E, WB online, and some others... no idea if they used em though

As for my material... I actually bought my armor pre made from a guy who didn't know much about em. I reworked some of it and repainted some... but I believe its really think sintra.

My helmet is a sgt fang. Originally a pretty good Boba... (it was painful to paint over it)

As for my gun, its actually nearly completely scratch built sans the handle, which is a piece of a broken paintball gun. The rest is PVC, Wood, and other random things. You can see better views of it here. http://threads.rebelscum.com/showfla...part=1#3591392

Any build info on your custom pack on how you ran the straps from the bin to the backplate:)
