Danakin\'s Custom Armor Progress *Updated 3/4*

Update 12/13:
Here's some updated shots showing the damage I added to the chest, plus the leg/shoulder armor. I just set it all on a body pillow I have, gave it a nice shape to lay out on. The jumpsuit will be a dark grey in color, once I get that tailored to fit me (it's too big currently) I'll be able to start velcro-ing the legs. I'm still in need of a vest. I'm working on getting one made from an ebay dealer, that'll cost me $110 or something, anyone have a better deal out there?

Rock on Danakin, I am digging the symbols on the pieces. Very unique set of armour you have there!

Now dent it up!

Thanks everyone. Anybody recognize the symbols on the right (closest one in the shot) shoulder bell? :D

They are the same symbols in the chest decal on boba's armor. :D
Oh, and what does that aurabesh read on the other one. :D
Keep up the great work. :)

"You are correct, sir!"

And the Aurabesh reads 'hate' on the left side and '97' on the right. Hate 97 is the name of my 'production company' that I put on all my stuff (fanfilms, websites, etc.). Just a cool little personal touch, plus it makes people wonder! ;)

And despite my reluctance, I actually am getting a decent amount of work done on my jet pack. Also I am finishing up my flamethrower to add to the gauntlet. More to come...hopefully soon...

Very nice! Everything looks better weathered! :thumbs up

Can't wait to see everything being worn!

I have to say, I really like the "stripe" method you used on the shoulder bells and leg armor. It reminds me of the Mandalorians in KOTOR (and in the comics): they used the same kinds of designs. Plus, using the symbols as war ornamentation (well, that's how I see them) is a nice touch.

Yes, definitely war ornamentation. Thanks!

I forgot to mention one thing. As you can probably see in the pic, the left shoulder bell (the aurabesh one) is a little out of shape. I plan on replacing that one down the line.

Dan,

Once again awesome job! This custom has come a loong way, & can't wait to see it finished!

It looks dirty, have you been rolling around in the dirt in your Mandalore suit again?? ;)

MW is glad to have you in our army!

That is one cool looking custom - it almost makes me want to do a custom instead of my ROTJ when my armor arrives - nah but almost :D

Keep it up and I agree that the two-tone paint is awesome.
