Haha ya im using a sander. The box said it was called a detail sander. I keep using the smallest grit that came with it. The domes getting smooth but theres tons of little dents everywhere! not sure what to do. I know if i add more bondo ill just sand it again and it will look exactly the same! Kinda wishing i used something else to make it

how big is the sanding pad on it levi?

like grit or size? The size and shape is exact to that of an iron. You know like the iron that you iron your clothes with (might have spelt that wrong) but ya the size of a normal ironing iron

the smaller the number, the more it eats off your surface, work your way up to number, then use spot filler to fill the little pin holes, then hand sand at a high grit 1000+ wet sand.

wow i feel even more stupid that i dont have a clue what most of these things are :cry what is spot filler? I can make an educated guess by the name ive just never seen it before

Spot filler is premixed toothpaste consistancy, self curing and designed to be put in THIN layers like 1/16 to 1/8", you'll sand it with a fine grade sandpaper or you'll just remove it all and it wont fill the little holes.

Here's a pic, see the red stuff.

Here's the 405th tut video:

Now don't you go using THAT MUCH HARDENER, he used too much which makes it dry waaay too fast, but worse, it makes the bucket way too brittle. It's better to use a little hardener and wait a little/lot longer for it to harden, but it will be stronger.
