Custom Armor Color Question

LusjoOrdo

New Hunter
I am trying to make a custom Mando armor that looks like Jango from Open Seasons. Basically a metal shiny grey look. I cannot seem to find the right color to spray on. I bought a metallic Krylon grey and it came out looking like a ceramic. How do I get a metal color? Like Jango from Ep 2 but a darker shade.

Thank You

The gauntlets are like a resin or plastic same with the helmet. The chest I was going to use plastic as well but if I use metal how do I darken the metal?

I am trying to get the color of the armor to look like the Jango on the left...

Oh, don't worry, I understand. :) But different things work on different materials. I know something that works great on actual steel (what I'm using for most of my kit). I would recommend Liquid Stainless Steel as a base coat and then try one of the darker ones of these (like Gun Metal) and buff it down to the finish you want. I'm not sure yet, but you can also try one of these. I'm using this for most of my stuff, but it's meant to work on actual metal-metal, and I don't know yet how it will work on something emulating a metal finish.

Let me know if any of this points you in the right direction. :)
